I called Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital two hours before they closed to see if they were able to fit my dog in for a visit. After speaking to the vet, they were able to squeeze my dog into the schedule where they looked at her extremely irritated eyes and gave me a detailed plan of how to treat it now in addition to how to manage it in the future. I am so appreciative of their willingness to help my pup feel better and the kindness they displayed to myself and my furry family member. Thank you again!!!!

I am always warmly welcomed to an extremely clean vet’s office and quickly seen. I appreciate that my time is valued, and the level of care for my dogs is unmatched. I never feel rushed, and the thoroughness of each visit is amazing. Dr Jones will patiently answer each question I may have in clear terms for me. The ladies that run the office are compassionate and so professional. I will never go to any other vet. This vet treats my dogs with such care and respect!

Dr Jones has been taking care of my 2 Jack Russells and before that, another Jack of 16 years and he took care of a friend's puppy for 13 years before that. Pretty good 30 year track record :)!

The entire staff knows my kids and I can't thank them enough for keeping them healthy.

I trust and value Dr. Jones candid advice and opinion. He will tell you the truth and what options are available for the best care of the patient.

I wouldn't take my pups anywhere else!!

2022 update:
Since Dr. Jones retired this hospital has gone in the wrong direction. The staff is constantly rotating in and out and has made it difficult to get good opinions for out dogs care. It seems like every time we go there is a new Doc that has to read up on our animals care (wait times have gone up) and give their 2 cents and very conflicting diagnosis. They are unable to perform minimal surgeries like cyst removal or X-rays.

Some of the Docs were kind of rude and dismissing. The prices have changed and not for the better and the care has gone down. We withdrew (requested their records) of our pets from the hospital and are now looking for another caregiver for our dogs.

P.S. Yes, you do have to bring stool samples now and prepay for them too... something Dr. Jones never required.

Everyone is so friendly to not just the humans entering the building, to our well loved pets/companions. I love the way the staff interacts with all 3 of my little girls. My 3 cats are not afraid to get poked or examined love to give kisses and lots of purrrs. That's because Dr. Jones and team give them love. Wouldn't change a thing...

Excellent Vet and staff! Always helpful and quick with appointments, both getting in quickly and not waiting when you arrive. The staff are very kind and knowledgeable, and always willing to answer any questions I have. They were with me with great compassion when my dog died, and later gave great advice when choosing my puppy and his training. Highly recommend!

We have been with Dr. Jones for 32 year and I might add I moved from North Tampa to South Tampa and no vet has matched Carrollwood Animal Hospital for their compassion and professionalism. We had several dogs throughout the years and he has always been compassionate for what our fur babies were going through and what we as pet owners are going through. Either way he has never pressured us on what decision needs to be made. He only confirmed what decision we made for our fur baby was the right decision. We can not thank him and his staff enough for their support and compassion. I would highly recommend Carrollwood Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a top notch Vet. I took my two furry family members to Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital today. I couldn't be more pleased with the service they received by the Dr. Jones & staff. It took only one day to get an appointment (no emergency, new patients). I had multiple issues for both doggies and one had a particular complex past. Dr. Jones and staff handled all issues and procedures like professionals who have been doing this for years. It particularly impressed me that both had blood drawn and got shots but never flinched a second as if they had never been stuck with a needle. One of my puppies is Jack Russell mix that is extremely high energy nervous and he never knew he was poked. I left with all my questions answered (and relieved). I was also happy to have paid reasonable and customary cost for products and services. I found a new vet as of today!
