They were great! Friendly and quick service.
Our dog had something bothering his ear. Luckily, they weren’t too busy. They got us into exam room within 10 min and Dr. Kease came in within another 10. He was super friendly with us and our dog. He explained everything in just enough detail and made us feel confident in his expertise.
In about an hour, our pup was sedated and the debris (a foxtail) was removed from his ear.
Everyone was so nice and compassionate! And the final fee was much less than the estimate!

We took our fur baby Stella here first thing in the morning on Sunday. She was up all night urinating blood and crying when she did. Everyone there was so sweet and took such good care of her. They diagnosed her with a UTI and sent us home with an antibiotic. Within hours of taking the first dose she was so much better and today - the next day she is back to herself with no blood in her urine. We totally recommend Central Coast Pet Hospital! It was a very positive experience from the minute we walked in. So happy to have an emergency vet hospital close by for those times our vet’s office is closed.

Our Ernie had a fever and we had tried everything to bring it down and keep him hydrated over the weekend trying to make it to Monday to get him to the vet. Finally on a Sunday, we couldn’t take it anymore and brought him in hoping it wasn’t going to cost an arm and a leg or be there all day.

We were able to get in quickly. Everyone that worked there was so kind and professional. He got antibiotics, sq hydration, and some ibuprofen to bring down the fever. The instructions were clear and concise. The whole experience was positive. Thank you Dr. Adam and staff for saving our baby, Burt is so happy his brother is back to himself.

I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my sweet girl to sleep. I called multiple times during various hours of the day and night to ask questions and each time the ladies who answered the calls were kind, professional, and respectful. They answered all my questions with compassion and kindness. They give you as much time before and after to be with your beloved pet to say goodbye. Dr. Giri was so kind and compassionate during the whole process. She explained everything thoroughly and really helped to ease the heartbreaking situation. They sent me a beautiful card as well. We received her ashes in a beautiful box in the time they had said. Thank you for giving my baby a beautiful afterlife, and thank you for helping ease the heartache me and my husband feel.

We are so grateful to everyone at Central Coast Pet Emergency.
We recently had an emergency situation, on a Sunday afternoon, with our not quite 3yr old Golden Retriever .
From the moment we walked into the clinic , Azurdee treated us with attention and kindness.
Our girl needed attention quickly and that is exactly what she was given. She needed to stay overnight so she could be observed and treated .
Dr Adam and Dr Giri kept me informed in the evening and first thing in the morning .
Thank you everyone for your kind and loving care of our sweet girl.

Took my dog in on a Sunday for a laceration caused by a dog fight. They were attentive, professional, and did a great job suturing up my pup. She was in and out within a couple of hours. This was including sedation. The suture site looks clean and the sutures neatly done. Wish we had a vet ER in SLO but this place is worth the drive when you have an emergency.

I came in for an emergency visit with two cats. The staff were very gracious while I and the cats were in distress. They had a very reasonable charge for a Sunday ER rate, got me in right away, and explained my options. They understood cats and were very cautions and slow with the examination with them. I am very grateful, I don't always find cat people at the vet but they all were!

My dog was outside in the front yard and when he tried to come into the house he couldn’t make it through the doggy door, very disoriented. I took him to Central Coast Pet Emergency and they immediately said it was due to marijuana ingestion. I disagreed but they were sure that it was, so I decided to just pay the $186 for the visit and upon getting home my dog thew up mushrooms. ? I called Central Coast Pet Emergency to let them know and they told me to call poison control.
