I have to say that our experience with Chappelle was amazing from the very first call with Courtney( sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names) At one of the worst moments in a dog parents life , we had to put our precious Lola down and everyone did their best to make sure she was comfortable and not in any pain. We had the option to do it outside and it was a beautiful day just for our Lola to have one last sunbathe with mom and dad. We are very grateful for the support and treatment she received. This vet/animal hospital actually has the most compassionate and caring staff I’ve come across in a very long time.

I used Chappelle once 14 years ago and the experience was very good. When I became a dog owner I had them in mind even though they are a little bit of a longer drive due to some frustrating experiences at another clinic. Dr. Nelson and her tech were very patient with my very large, very anxious rescue dog who was not at all interested in being examined. They devoted themselves to the appointment and made the experience as pleasant as possible for our sweet girl so that hopefully future visits will be easier. Highly recommend this animal hospital and Dr. Nelson.

We have a difficult dog that resists vets to the point of being refused for care. Dr. Z worked with us ahead of time to get a sedative that would help calm him. She was able to give him all his shots, exam, and clip his nails. This vet did a great job caring for our anxious boy and making sure he got everything he needed.

Highly recommend this practice and Dr Suto. After seeing 2 other vets in the area for what I thought was a malignancy (both of them not listening/trusting me) my dog developed some acute respiratory symptoms early on a Sunday morning. This practice got her in as a new patient, on a Sunday and charged me a regular office visit, it's not about the money but more the principle and doing the right thing. Dr Suto actually listened to me and ordered the correct diagnostic exam which confirmed my suspicion. His bedside manner was amazing and he provided prescriptions including Chinese medicine (which I loved) to get my dog relief of her acute illness. So grateful to have found this vet on what was a really hard day for me as a dog mama. Thank you!

Our dog has been a patient here for 3 years and we’ve always had excellent experiences. There are a lot of vet options in NoCo and we are so happy we found Chappelle. They are attentive, not pushy, and take great care of our dog. I love the walk-in option and don’t mind having to wait as there is a nice outdoor area to hang out.

We have been clients of Chapelle Animal Hospital for nearly 25 years and have consistently received the most compassionate, educated, and convenient care from every veterinarian and staff member. Their kindness, empathy, and commitment to timely service are unmatched.

However, I want to specifically acknowledge Dr. Troy Suto for the extraordinary care he provided for our dog, Ronin. We first brought Ronin in for a checkup when he was just 9 weeks old, and yesterday, we made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye as he approached 14 years of age. Over the years, Dr. Suto treated Ronin for a rare infection, patella surgery, thrombocytopenia, hyperextended carpi, and various senior dog issues. At every appointment, Dr. Suto would get down on the floor to ensure our nervous dog felt calm and comfortable.

This review is long overdue, but Chapelle Animal Hospital is, without a doubt, the only place I will ever take my dogs. Their dedication and care are unparalleled.

Very sad to share that we cannot recommend Chappelle. We've used them for several years and for multiple pets. However, we are in the process of moving to another state and needed to provide care for our pets there, in addition to FoCo during the transition. Regardless of providing all documentation of work performed by the veterinarians in the other state, as well as providing contact information so they could communicate directly, Chappelle refuses to accept the services without warrant or explanation. After multiple discussions it is apparent their first concern is money - not the health and well-being of our pets.
