My precious long haired dacshund (my baby girl) of 17 years Annabelle was at her end and they were extremely kind in helping her to go to her eternal sleep while we comforted her in my arms. We miss her dearly. 😪💔🐾

Came in Sunday 11/18/18 with a very special doberman named Gunner who had a cough. The vet told us everything seemed fine and it was just a cough and if we wanted we could take him to the vet on Monday morning. We thought everything was fine like the doctor said so we were shocked when our beloved family member passed away early Monday morning. Obviously, this was more than a cough and the vet should have done more diagnostics to find the problem not tell us to go to our normal vet the next day. We out our trust in these people and when we are let down the trust is gone forever. I hope I never have to bring another pet family member to this place as I will not be able to trust anything they say. Attached is a picture of our much loved Gunner who we had to dig a hole and bury yesterday. You should have done more...

Although the receptionist was a bit edgy, I’m sure her job is tough asking for payment in the hardest of situations. We lost my best friend and the Dr. (younger lady) was incredibly gentle and took the sweetest of time to care for my buddy. I felt she cared about our pain. I would use them again.

Emergency vets can be so scary but the staff members at Cherokee Emergency Vet were so kind, patient, and compassionate. We were there nearly five hours but they were endlessly helpful and understanding. We were so worried about out cat but they were so reassuring and answered every question we had.

The vet we saw at Cobb emergency vet clinic on a Saturday night, actually worked out of the Cherokee clinic. Our cat, Mr Mittens or "Mittie", had gotten into another fight & had a bite that had already turned into a huge abscess on his back...right where the tail joins the body. Dr. Deanna Lombardo was his vet at Cobb & then on Sunday, we took Mittie to the Cherokee clinic because Dr. Lombardo was working there on Sunday & she/we wanted her to be the one to see him for the followup because it was so serious. There was a huge hole that Dr Lombardo had to clean & cut away dead skin to the point she was afraid the sutures wouldn't hold it closed. She put drains in & she was also very concerned about alleviating his pain which relieved us tremendously. She was very good at telling us exactly what was going on and at the same time, she was so reassuring & capable that our stress level was lowered tremendously. SHE REALLY CARED ABOUT OUR MITTIE and we trusted her implicitly. She also kept our regular vet up to date on what she had done so he could continue the treatment. We were so impressed that we would have gladly made her our primary vet, if possible, but unfortunately, she was moving to Utah or somewhere where rock climbers like to live within a few weeks of us seeing her. She was Awesome and if she moves back, the clinic mgmt. should make a big announcement!
Thank You, Dr. Lombardo. YOU were worth every penny!

Our cat Chewie was bitten on the front right paw by a baby copperhead while we took him outside for a walk. Neither us nor Chewie saw the snake before it bit him. We rushed him down to Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Clinic immediately following the incident. They were able to get him checked out. Luckily, he didn't have enough venom injected to require anti-venom. Just needed some various medicines and we were on our way. Thank you very much for helping Chewie out! He is doing great right now!

The staff members here are wonderful! They were so kind, professional, and courteous. We came in because our dog had something lodged in his throat. Of course he decided to spew it out while we were in the waiting area. They were concerned and gracious enough to examine him to be sure there was nothing left in his throat. On top of that, we were not charged for their time. We will definitely return if we have another pet emergency. Cherokee County is very fortunate to have these wonderful people and this service in our community.
