Moved to Colorado in the last year and was in desperate need for a vet visit a month or so ago for my dog who was very sick with committing and diarrhea. Already had taken to an emergency vet and was over $1.5k in on bills. A few days went by and didn’t get better so they got me in last minute and was able to get him the fluids and meds he needed. He has since been healthy and great.

Then my other dog has been dealing with some skin infection problems since we got here 3 months ago. Staff was great and had the same vet as last appt for my other dog.

Both visits they went over costs and made sure we were happy with treatments and very informative of what and why they needed to do each thing. Will be continuing to take them here as needed as my girl will be a month visitor for her allergy shot.

Very clean, and friendly environment. Definitely can feel the love all the staff has for every animal that comes through, not sure about all the bad reviews because I’ve seemed to have the opposite experience as those. Was quoted $250 for an allergy shot in the past and they did hers for $150.

Highly recommend! Dr. Miller and the rest of the staff were so kind and patient with our dog. We came in with a very severe skin allergy and they sat with my dog and walked me through all the details and next steps. I loved the upfront pricing before they moved forward with anything. Also, loved not being rushed through an appointment - they took time and care to make sure our dog was comfortable and got the care he needed.

I brought my 10 week old puppy in for a suspected UTI. The technician, Shayla, was amazing and so incredibly kind. The vet (Alexander Toetz) seemed okay until he told me in order to diagnose a UTI they would need to do an invasive and painful procedure (cystocentesis) and refused to even look at the urine sample I brought to the office. When I declined said procedure because I’m not going to subject a 10 week old puppy to an unnecessary invasive procedure that is not without significant risk the doctor literally just got up and left the room. He didn’t thank us for coming in, he didn’t ask us if we had any more questions, nothing. I fully understand that he is a newer veterinarian but his lack of bedside manner was unacceptable. We went to Chewy because of their incredible customer service and unfortunately Dr Toetz is not up to that standard.

Any 5-star reviews you see here are clearly the staff writing fake reviews to combat the truthful ones. This is a full scale bait and switch operation at the Highlands Ranch Chewy, where it seems the staff are heavily trained on extorting the customers for as much revenue as possible that they can squeeze out of customers. I've had appointments here twice and both times I was told one thing by the veterinarian and given recommendations by the veterinarian to wait until the end of the week before "we decided on a plan". Recently I was told to "follow up with us in 2 days before moving forward". They're clearly doing this because once you follow their instruction and try to follow up in a few days, they then have trained their staff to extort you by having to make a separate appointment to follow up to see the veterinarian again. I even attempted to put things in motion at my last appointment and not think on it for a few days like the veterinarian recommended, but she was insistent that I follow up with her in a few days. What she's actually saying is "I'm forcing you to get back to me before we make a plan for your pet, so that I can guarantee the cost of another visit". They give you the impression that with "following up" in a few days that you'll be able to just call, give them a status of your pet, and a plan will be put into motion from there. But it's a complete bait and switch to ensure more appointments are constantly made. I will never step foot into this veterinarian's office again and I will be notifying Chewy corporate of their their practices.

Today was our third experience with this particular vet office. All of our experiences here have been positive. Our schnauzer was only in for a nail trim today, but he is not a fan of the procedure and can be challenging. However today, vet tech Ana went above and beyond to create a calm and caring experience for my dog Jax. She is one of the best vet techs I've had the pleasure of working with.

I cannot recommend Dr. Miller highly enough! She has been an incredible veterinarian for our dogs, consistently demonstrating exceptional care and dedication. Her compassion and expertise shine through in every visit. I trust her completely, knowing that the health and quality of life of our pets are her top priorities. Dr. Miller takes the time to listen and truly understand their needs, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about their well-being. If you’re looking for a veterinarian who treats your pets like family, look no further than Dr. Miller!

A few weeks ago, I brought my cat in for some sneezing she had a few days prior. We seen Dr. Toetz. He was so through with her and fully listened to everything we were saying. He found that she had severe plaque that was causing her pain and discomfort and said that is why she was not acting like herself. He walked us thorough the next steps, along with the best and worst case scenarios. We did blood work that day and immediately got her scheduled in for her procedure with him. After they finished the X-rays, Dr. Toetz called me and told me how bad it was and the cost. Unfortunately, that was not something we could fully pay for all at once. He asked me a price and said that would be the high end and said that he would do the best he could. When we went to pick up Mrs. Biscuit, he came in and told us that he was able to stay in our price range and they were able to pull the worst of her teeth today. He was concerned about the possibility of pneumonia because she was so rattly and asked we brought her back in the follow day to make sure. He went over all three options of if she did have it because he wouldn’t be there for her check up. He said to expect her to not eat as much or be loopy and little lethargic, that’s it’s common for anesthesia procedures. We got her home and she immediately jumped to her food bow! She started acting better than she had in months!! We were so happy to have our sweet girl back. We had just recently moved, so we pointed that to be the cause of her acting differently. When we went to her check up, she was perfect and the doctor who helped us said she couldn’t ask for anything better. We learned of how worried Dr. Toetz was because he wanted to make sure she was okay. We couldn’t have found a better vet who truly cares about the animals as well as the animals owners. Everyone in Chewy has been amazing, and my husband and I both agree this has been the best vet clinic we’ve ever found! We love and trust Dr. Toetz and will forever bring our fur babies to him! I highly recommend him and you will not be disappointed.

Chewy Highlands Ranch truly exceeded my expectations in caring for my group of animals. Coordinating appointments for my four large dogs on the same day was seamless, thanks to their helpful staff. They took the time to provide exceptional care to each of my dogs. Special thanks to Vanessa, Shay, and Dr. Miller for their outstanding service—I greatly appreciate their dedication.
