Dr. Andy is a great veterinarian. Everything I want: practical, compassionate, and accessible. Plus decades of experience. His "bedside manner" with both pets and humans is no doubt part of his success. I've had two dogs, one after the other with some overlap, and even after I moved out of the neighborhood into one with many other vets, I continue to drive the extra distance to him, because he's so great. He doesn't care about fancy marble countertops in the lobby. He cares about the animals, and he is reasonable.

This is one of the best vets in Chicago. So good I don't want everyone to know because then it will be hard for me to get an appointment. Now that's just selfish of me. I have trusted this vet with my last 3 pets. He's fantastic and very patient.

I have been going to Dr Andy since 2008. He has taken care of my 3 cats & my dog. I highly recommend Dr. Andy. He is kind, considerate & gentle with the care of my pets.
Within the past year, my little dog became diabetic. She also had chronic stomach issues. Dr Andy would see us on a monthly basis to check her blood sugar. Sadly, my elderly dog lived about 10 months after contracting this disease.
The day she passed away, on 2/6/24, I took her to see Dr. Andy. He saw us right away. My precious Lily was given compassionate, gentle care.
I was given the time I needed to grieve before leaving. Their prices have always been very reasonable. Dr Andy always made himself available when needed. I am lucky to have found such a caring, compassionate vet.
I have been to other animal hospitals in the area & all they want to do is take your money. It's just a business to them. There is no empathy or compassion for the pet or the pet parent. The care your pet receives does not compare with the care & understanding you get at Chicago Pet Clinic.
So, if you want trusting, gentle, compassionate care for your pet, this is the place. Dr Andy is the best!

Best vets ever! True /honest vets with incredible animal knowledge that shun unnecessary medication. I also am happy to report that their fees are not crazy which is always good on the wallet. My baby has been going to them for ten years and I have never had any concern. Will always recommend!

Great vet care at a very reasonable cost!!

I have been going here for a few years now, and I'm very satisfied. Anna and especially Dr Andy are wonderful and very patient with animals (my dog Daisy is pretty high strung).

They don't try to push unnecessary or expensive treatments or products, are very respectful and understanding. I appreciate that if possible, the most realistic approach to problems is taken first and not starting with the most expensive option like many other vets do in my experience.

Dr Andy is patient and takes extra time to research, problem solve, explain test results, and and address all of my questions and concerns.
I highly recommend!
