When you adopt a dog from City Dogs, you are bringing a dog who wants to be home. From the start to the end of Chestnuts adoption, my adoptions counselor was helping me the entire way. I cannot say enough about how kind and loving the whole staff of city dogs is. From animal control to the kennel workers. I cannot give this place enough love. Chestnut was a stray who was hit by a car and abandoned. He is such a loving dog and the staff truly spends time with each dog and learns their personalities. These people know their stuff. Adopt a City Dog.

This is one of the cleanest places that I have been to and the staff are so nice and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a dog to adopt city dogs are the place to go. I would adopt from these guys again if given the opportunity to do so. This lovely dog is Lacey and she is enjoying her new loving home.

A kind, loving staff of Volunteers who care for the dogs. They want to find the right family for each dog. Julie and Bev were so helpful in finding a match for us in Martini!

Adoption process was smooth and well done. We meet several dogs, then came back later with our existing dog to meet.
Our dog clearly liked one more than the others, and we adopted them the next day!

Be patient if you plan on going to adopt, the city activity and daily volume means you may have to wait for a bit, but the wait is worth it as Sometimes quality of service takes longer.

Can't speak highly enough of the adoption counselors or process.

They found my dog then ended up adapting about 6 days later. They will not give me no information at all. He is a therapy dog. He is a guy dog. His name is hercuhe's a full blooded german rottweiler They will give me no information at all about my dog they adopted him out Without even putting him on the website This place needs to be shut down Please bring my baby boy home to me

I found a dog roaming my street near w. 117th. I called city dogs and they were eager to help! They scanned the old pup for a chip and located his owner. The staff was very helpful!
