I had the pleasure (haha) of staying the night at the hospital. I went to Orofino fishing with my hubby and ended up having a bad reaction to a medication. Hubby drove me to ER and I was admitted from there. Everyone we encountered during this process was very kind and thorough. The hospitalist Dr. Lima was very knowledgeable and kept me informed with updates. Kudos to everyone! You guys are great! Thanks for letting me take a shower after being covered in puke and urine?. Sorry for the violent vomiting that the whole hospital could hear. I even got a call after I got home to see how I was doing! They care!

One of the better outlying hospitals, as a flight medic we got to experience all the outlying hospitals, CVH stands out, excellent staff and practitioners, managed patients well and was always amazing to work with. I would trust the ER with my family most importantly.

I had a good experience with a hernia repair. Bert the anesthesiologist, Debbie the nurse and Dr. Karin Schmidova my surgeon were outstanding. I felt treated respectfully and not like an idiot as some "medical professionals" are so prone to do.

The quality of care was great, the communication was outstanding and the staff was truly considerate and kind. I've often come away from other facilities feeling like they were relationally cold and automatons. Not so this time. Schmidova and her team are not mindless cogs in the medical machine. They are bright, warm and technically gifted!

Thank you team CVH.

Blessings,

Matt H

I went to hospital via ambulance I was in a bad car crash on black ice,ii was in major pain they said they didn't have anyone qualified to put an IV into my main veins,so they proceeded to use a hand battery operated drill to drill into my leg and into my bone with out any kind of numbing of site before hand.what kind of hospital doesn't have a qualified phlebotomist to do a pick line? How is it they can be qualified to drill into a person's leg bone and not put a needle in a vein?then they tell me they use the drill all the time on baby's and children.how traumatizing !

BAIT AND SWITCH!
Went in for a scheduled wellness check. They charged me for a physical exam, which the insurance did not cover. I asked for an appeal and they rejected it.The doctor no longer works there. Now I have to pay 750 dollars out of pocket for about 15 minutes of their time. Make sure you know what you are getting charged for. Can't believe this is legal. I truly feel like I have been scammed.

I entered the hospital at morning shift change, 7 am, and was one of 3 patients! I was in extreme side pain and was seeking answers as to why! The ER physician could not keep his eyes open while interviewing me of my complaints! When I realized I was seeing the whites of his eyes I stopped talking and he kept sleep! A nurse came in asking for him later and was told that he was at the clinic! He is the ONLY ER DOCTOR THERE to care for me and other patients! I left around 5:00 pm with a prescription and a doctor's appointment with my doctor and ZERO ANSWERS! Useless and extremely expensive waste of a day! Drive to Lewiston!!!
