We took our bulldog, Meg to Dr. Clyde for a spay & soft pallet reduction surgery. As you can imagine, we were SO nervous for a such a big surgery on our little dog. Dr. Clyde and her staff were AMAZING! They consistently reassured us and kept us at ease. They texted/emailed/called with updates throughout the surgery. They even called days & even weeks after the surgery to ensure our pup was adjusting.
After the first day of rest, Meg was another dog entirely, she could finally breathe with ease and was running all over able to play without needing to stop to catch her breathe. I am positive that Dr. Clyde and her team improved the quality and length of our sweet girls life. I could not be any more grateful!

Edit to add several months later and they still haven't contacted me regarding this issue.

Would not use this vet. Did not ask prior to performing extra services while my dogs were boarded, even though they had the paperwork showing my dogs were seen and vaccinated at their vet the week before boarding.

They took advantage of an elderly person. They did not provide an estimate or present a consent form prior to performing services. The only charge we were aware of was the $25/night/dog for boarding. Was presenting with a very large bill after only 1 night being boarded.

Dr. Clydes and the staff did an amazing job of our furbaby Shadow May 15, 2023 she was given 4 months to 1 year. She passed away April 11, 2024 we were given 11 months more with her. You can prepare but never ready to lose them. We highly recommend this Veterinarian and staff. They showed so much care and love with her.

This is incredibly long but it’s worth the read before you come here. Just in case though, tl;dr is this - the clinic has gone massively downhill over the years and front reception is atrocious 90% of the time. It’s been nearly three weeks and I STILL have not gotten medication my cat desperately needs. Two stars is ONLY for a receptionist named Faith, and for Dr. Williams.

To begin my cat is nearly sixteen years old and I travel for work. She is on a VERY high dose of medication and I go through a speciality pharmacy to have it made. Recently I decided to use Clyde’s as my primary again (I had previously been a client for fourteen years) after going to other vets while traveling. Her blood work was all caught up, I simply needed a refill of her medication. That was nearly three weeks ago now.

When I first called, I was told by receptionist Kelsey that she didn’t think they could use the pharmacy I have had for a year and a half, and they had their own that they went through. I was then told she would leave a note for the vet to call me back because I had questions. Friday and the weekend passed with no updates.

When I called back Monday I was told that they would let the dr know I called and the refill would go through that evening. Great. Still nothing after two more days. I called again, and I was informed that there were some complications but that a note for the vet would be left. By the next Friday it had been a week, I’d heard nothing from anyone, and supposedly three notes had been left that had not been responded to.

At this point I was getting worried. Another week of calls, notes, and Kelsey having a slight attitude (no doubt due to my calls asking WHY they hadn’t been able to refill it) before FINALLY I was told in a text with typos that the order was placed.

Their pharmacy could not make the high dosage needed, so they decided to have me double this topical cream they did have, and then decided 150 a MONTH was appropriate to pay for said double doses without even INFORMING ME they charged my account. I then discovered they charged me for the wrong prescription as well, with half of it in the form of pills which my cat won’t take.

Cue more phone calls, more attitude from Kelsey, and the finding out that she did not write ANY of my information down. By the time Faith helped me she had no idea who I was, what my cats dose was, or ANYTHING. It was as if I had never called at all the previous two weeks.

It has been nearly three weeks now, I still DO NOT have any medication and my cat is nearly out, and it has been hell on earth dealing with them. Now I know you’re thinking ‘you had to have cursed them out or had attitude etc’ nope I was polite even when I didn’t want to and I kept being told there would be notes left even when I asked to speak to ANYONE besides Kelsey. I, at one point, was a little frantic, but at no point did I raise my voice, curse, or even get upset with them. However Kelsey DID sigh on multiple calls, and did her best to get me off the phone as soon as possible.

When I finally decided to have them use MY old pharmacy, I gave that information (email, phone, etc) to Kelsey HOURS after canceling my previously messed up prescription from THEIR pharmacy. And then when none of that information was there when Dr. Clyde called me, I was told it was ‘lost in translation’ because of my canceling the other order. I understand it was inconvenient, but I made sure they had ALL the info. ALL that needed to be done was to have an email prescription sent over. And it still never got done until Dr. Williams sent it over days later.

Their customer service has progressively gone downhill and this was appalling. Faith and Dr. Williams were able to help me in all of HALF AN HOUR, with calls back to verify information, when I’d spent TWO WEEKS trying to deal with anyone else there who could not seem to care I was trying to keep my cat alive. I will not be returning, and while I used to sing praises for this place I will now be telling people to avoid at all costs.
