Mi cuñada lleva su gatita hace unos días a este lugar y omg el servicio que recibió, no hicieron absolutamente nada, lo único fue decirle " TU GATO ES MUY VIEJO" cabe mencionar que el gato no tiene más de 6 años. Solo le dieron un medicamento para aumentar supuestamente de peso. El gato pasó a un estado muy precario, al volver a llamar y decir que el gato seguía mucho peor el doctor vuelve a mencionar "NO SE LO QUE TENGA. PERO TU GATO YA ES MUY VIEJO" cobró una fuerte cantidad por absolutamente nada. Cuando mi cuñada se comunica conmigo le recomiendo al médico veterinario que usamos en casa y MARAVILLA se dan cuenta que la gatita tiene una infección en el oído y en cuestión de horas la gatita vuelve a caminar e intentar comer. MAGIA? No lo creo solo pienso que son mucho más preparados y atentos a las necesidades de los animales. Por favor siempre busquen otras alternativas, por el nombre se puede entender que es un lugar comprensivo y hasta económico, pero ERROR. SIEMPRE ACUDAN POR OTRA OPINIÓN MAS CUANDO UN MEDICO VETERINARIO LES DICE " NO SE LO QUE TU ANIMAL TENGA YA ES MUY VIEJO, POR FAVOR PAGA LA FACTURA."

Best clinic so far in town as far as price, care, treatments and most importantly honesty. doctor Katie took great care of our pet, she physically examined him, found the issue and told us the pros and cons of him getting the treatment. prices are great, no wait time. staff is very friendly. Monte Vista animal hospitals sister company. we will definitely return here in future if needed. highly recommend!

Don’t take your animal here! Completely incompetent. Took my dog there twice with concerns about her health and weight loss and diarrhea. Told that there’s nothing wrong just old age and it’s because of her diet change. Took her to monte vista vet. Instantly they tell me they have concerns. They do an ultrasound and my dog is full of cancer and is in pain. My dog has been dealing with this for over a month. Now putting her down after suffering all this time.

Right away Community Vet Clinic made me and my dog feel welcome and we’re not clients. After poor experiences over the past year and a half at Monte Vista a change was needed. I brought my dog here because I no longer trust Monte Vista to look after my pets. They were very accommodating and the Dr. That looked at my dog was very kind to take care of him.

***I had to update this review. Community Vet Clinic saved my dog’s life for the time being, and gave me more time with Otis! I am forever grateful for the care they have provided my dog, and I will never be able to repay their kindness they’ve shown me and beloved boy. Words cannot express my gratitude to the entire staff, but a special thanks to Kortney and Dr. Barrett for everything they do. Their love for animals is very apparent and I can’t praise them enough!

They are always easy to get an appointment with. And always friendly, let me go in with my baby. We had an emergency a few months ago. My baby was really sick and they were just as concerned as I was and took great care of her.

Had to cancel a surgery appointment for my rabbit / bunny. They told me he shouldn't eat after 6am and the receptionists told me Dr. Barrett not only said he shouldn't eat after 6am but that if he did, he could vomit during surgery.

Not only should rabbits always have access to food. But, they're also physically unable to vomit.

Did not feel comfortable dropping off my rabbit after that. I don't think it's appropriate or safe to advertise that you see rabbits and make comments that can be harmful to a rabbit's health.

On a side note, there are a lot of comments about the Dr. always rushing and not hearing what you have to say, I got that too, but as someone who also walks with a sense of urgency, it didn't bother me so much. But I can see how it can appear dismissive especially if you have questions.

I don't recommend rabbit owners to come here.

There is no vet I trust more than Dr. Barrett. He has been our Vet for over 13 years, making him practically family. Kind, patient, honest, and knowledgeable, our fur babies are always in good hands with him. He has cared for 2 of our beloved pets and was beyond compassionate when they passed and now extends that same excellent care to our new addition. I will always recommend Dr Barrett and have to family who now see him exclusively, making him our family veterinarian!

Now this is a place where the staff genuinely cares about the animals that they see. I have had a lot of bad experiences with veterinarians that only care about the money, or selling products (some products that can, and have been harmful or fatal for my animals). I had almost lost all hope in finding a good exotic vet in the area, till we met Dr. Barrett. Dr. Barrett treated my sick bearded dragon with care as he quickly and efficiently demonstrated his vast experience with treating respiratory infections in reptiles. He knew exactly what he was doing, and he did everything I expected he would do for my dragon. My beautiful dragon has fully recovered from the respiratory infection that she had, and has been thriving ever since! BEST EXOTIC VET AROUND!!!
