These people absolutely petrified my dog. I used this vet since my dog was 8 weeks old. I have a black lab, obviously a bigger dog. I brought my dog in for a yearly check up and heart worm test. I got there and they took us into a room and everything was fine. They then came and took my dog into the back room, which I mentioned specifically that my dog may not do well with being away from me and if I needed to come back and help hold her I would because she is a very loyal dog. Not even minutes later I hear my dog screaming and them trying to calm my dog down. My dog is brought back to me with only the whites in her eyes showing and ears completely pinned back. I asked what had happened and they proceeded to tell me that they had muzzled my dog, for what reason? She has never once showed any aggression. The vet acted as if she was scared of my dog. Then the vet told me that the ONLY way for my dog to come back into their facilities is if she is heavily medicated with 2 different types of medications. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU HAVE A BIGGER DOG. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR DOG AND THROW A MUZZLE ON IT AND THEN EXPECT YOUR DOG NOT FREAK OUT AND GETS MAD WHEN THE DOG DOES FREAK OUT.

If you actually care for your animals do not take them here. My best friend took her 7 year old Pitt Bull here a few months ago and had a horrible experience. First Pitt Bull are stereotyped to be vicious dogs which is not true. Rocky (her dog) is the sweetest and most loving dog I’ve ever meet. I have a Chihuahua they have been besties for years and when they play he knows to take it gentle with her as he also does with children. So for him not to get the treatment he needs because they stereotyped him is heartbreaking. He is now at stage 3 for heart worms and has to go through a 5 month treatment plan because they neglected him because of his breed. They should be ashamed and called out for how they treated rocky. From the comments I’ve read this is not there first time this has happened. Go somewhere else. Somewhere the veterinarian ACTUALLY cares for your animals.

Dr. Smith and her staff are absolutely the best veterinarian care I’ve ever experienced.

You will get a straight answer from her but she will deliver with kindness and compassion. She will go above and beyond to help her patients and their fur babies. She makes time to answer questions and make sure you have all that you need during or even between appointments.

Every staff member has been so kind and helpful over the years, loving on our pets as if they were their own. Amanda, who is the in house groomer, has always been wonderful with our dog!

After trying out different vets in each place I’ve lived, no one compares to Dr. Smith. We are so lucky to have her and her team in Conway.

Im not one to give a bad review hence the reason I am just now leaving one, but if I could give 0 stars I would. Never take your animals here. It is a waste of time and money. I took my dog here in August to have an annual exam and have a limp in his leg checked out. (i originally thought it was arthritis) but I have a pitbull who has never once had aggressive tendencies and the tech was scared of him before ever taking him out of the room, (he was literally laying on the ground wagging his tail & he picked his head up when she opened the door to which she said “oh he got tense”) they then called him vicious and refused to cut his nails after taking him to the back for only 3 min they claimed to attempt to cut his nails do all his exam and his shots. The vet never even entered our room she stood in the back hall writing stuff down while telling us everything looked good. I never got to get new heart worm medicine for him or anything before she walked away. Come to find out after leaving and looking at my receipt they did not even do his heart worm exam. Now here we are I have taken him to a new vet a few months later and he has a torn ACL in the leg that was supposedly “good” & has tested positive for heart worms. I whole heartedly recommend going ANYWHERE but this money hungry place that doesn’t care about your animals and is scared of any bigger dogs as seen in previous reviews.

I’m super picky when it comes to who cares for my fur baby Archie, so I was very thankful when I found this clinic! Archie actually gets excited to go when it is time for his monthly groom with Amanda, and any time I have needed to have something looked at on him Dr. Smith and her staff has made it super easy to get in. I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

This is not the Vet you want to go to, everything will be your fault. No matter how hard you try. The tech is rude....You will walk out of there crying and thinking everything is your fault. Your fur baby is your family and you want the best for them. I will never let them touch him again...
