To enjoy this place you must be a pet owner already and knowledgeable about your dogs health care needs. This place isn't for new dog families, they aren't welcoming at all. The lead female vet just stares at us and spoke very rude on our first trip, had my daughter sad after leaving. I've been twice and have left uneasy, rushed exams but fully priced totals. I will not ever go back, I trusted them as this was were our fur baby started so we wanted to keep the same routine. Honestly, just isn't worth the stress nor headache. I hope moving forward (Dr.F.) adjusts her ways. Also, I paid cash and was told " Aw you stay strapped" like excuse me? Don't we have to pay at the end of services, so having cash means I'm strapped. I've never expected this type of treatment, mind you our puppy was only about 10 weeks old. Hearing nasty remarks about our pet, just disgusted me. I really wish I could have walked out and not paid a penny!
Reading the reviews had me excited but faded very quickly, not sure if late afternoon appts are their thing as a whole!

Thank you for helping us take care of our new kitten which we found on the highway. He came in with a degloved mouth and was underweight. Country View Veterinary Clinic gave us the medications and helped us create a plan to nurse him back to health. Dr. Fantom warned us he may always have a droopy lip, but his mouth is almost 100% healed. Thank you very much for all your help.?

After moving to the area a few years back, I went to many different vets before coming to countryview from a friend’s recommendation. My cat, dog, and I have been nothing short of impressed with the care and knowledge of the staff in the time we’ve been clients here. Our anxious cat has never been more at ease, and our dog’s allergies have been taken care of so well! I’m forever recommending this office to anyone who needs a veterinarian. Thank you to the staff at countryview for making vet visits calm, informative, and enjoyable for all of us, especially with reasonable pricing!

The entire staff at Country View Clinic is SUPER friendly and helpful! This was my first time visiting since I moved to the area from the East Coast. Small and personable, this is the place to go if you don't want to get lost in the shuffle of larger clinics. They patiently explained to me what I needed to do to submit my cat's rabies certificate to the county since I did not have to do that in my last state of residence, and helped me price check the cost of Rx Food for my diabetic cat! Dr. Fantom is very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable and helped make me feel like my concerns were heard and provided excellent care and guidance! I'm happy to have found Country View Clinic and am excited to be part of the family 🙂

INHUMANE. Today I had to bring our elderly chihuahua to Country View to be put to sleep. Two years ago we had to have an elderly chihuahua put to sleep and brought her to VCA in Kankakee, and it was a very calm and easy 2-shot procedure, while I held her, for about $200. I pleaded with Country View to do it as quickly as possible when I got there today since my dog was experiencing a great deal of anxiety. They required I listen to the cremation sales pitch first and pay in full, over $300, before they would begin. Then they said they would take him in back for one injection, then wait for him to get sleepy so they could insert an IV port into his leg. I questioned this procedure but they said it's how they always do it. So they took him away and brought him back to me even more stressed. After a few minutes he relaxed in my lap but then began choking and coughing. He struggled to breathe for a good 10 minutes until they came in to lay him on the table and shave his leg and put in the port. They kept giving him saline for what seemed like forever, then finally gave him the lethal meds. In a long lifetime of having pets I have never been more disappointed in a veterinary clinic and will never go back.
