Dr. Minor is the most compassionate, thorough, explanatory, communicative veterinarian we’ve come across. A kind, wonderful human being. He’s also always trying to save his customers on costs. His staff are equally wonderful. What a world-class operation we are fortunate to have here. He will be an institution here for a long time. We are eternally grateful for their services.

Very good experience. I was recommend to go here from my vet of many years who is retiring. She told me it’s independently owned so the prices would be more reasonable. This was definitely true as I checked with Atascadero Pet Hospital and their price was double for the same procedure. The staff was professional and it was obvious my dog was well taken care of. It’s easy to get to as it’s right off the freeway and they have designated parking spots right in front of the entrance.

Highly recommend. This will definitely be my new vet going forward.

There's no other VET in SLO County who knows Frenchies like Dr. Brian Minor. He is an excellent VET with an excellent staff.

Dr. Minor and his team are miracle workers. In addition to regular medical care and extensive dental surgery, they most recently saved our dog's life after a rattlesnake bite. Professional, knowledgeable, generous and deeply devoted, we appreciate them!

The staff at Creekside Vet are exceptional and I can’t recommend any other Veterinary Clinic more than this one. From reproductive services to emergency surgery and treatment this is the place to go. My last visit for a swollen jaw on our husky was handled quickly and the charges were incredibly reasonable . 5 stars for sure.

Dr. Minor is an expert! He is knowledgeable, patient, diligent, caring, resourceful, humble and always takes the time to discuss the prognosis in transparent detail. His staff is incredible! They all rotate responsibilities so that all have a clear understanding of all operations of a successful veterinarian clinic. I'm always 100% satisfied with every visit. Highly recommended!

The care my dog received the last two days was exceptional. The communication was excellent. Dr. Miner prepared me for all options and there was no pressure in making me decide what was best for my dog when considering treatment options vs. cost. It was very evident this office cares about the animals first. They are very affordable. I will be recommending this vet to anyone looking for one.

I took my French bulldog to Creekside Veterinary to discuss having elongated soft palate surgery. This office came highly recommended to me by another French bulldog owner and the reviews that I read online were all very positive. When I made the appointment, I was asked to prepay the office visit since I was a new client. While waiting in the reception area a girl came out to us and unclipped my dog’s leash from his harness and put a slip collar over my dog’s neck and began pulling him across the room. My husband quickly picked him up. She took our dog from my husband and told us to wait in the reception area. While waiting I could hear a dog crying from the back, having no experience with this office before and not feeling good about my dog having a slip collar around his neck when he has a condition that causes airway obstruction, I expressed my concern with one of the girls at the front, she had very little compassion and told me they always do the exams in the back and then the Doctor comes and talks to you in the reception area (FYI it has a lot of other people in it). I waited a little longer but as the crying in the back continued I asked for them to bring my dog back out to me, he appeared very anxious and after taking him outside he threw up twice. I decided not to wait for the vet to come out and talk to me. This office has a very “one size fits all” approach which may work for some but not for everyone. I would never feel comfortable leaving my dog here, my only regret is that I didn’t speak up for him sooner.
