They are very unprofessional and don't care about animals. My 1.5 year old cat died because of their multiple mistakes. Please, never bring your pet to them, not a single animal deserves this treatment. My cat was their patient since I got him from the breeder, seen by several different vets there. They failed at finding his heart problems. When I brought him with no appetite and difficulties moving, the doctor said he ate a hairtie and started giving him laxatives and liquids, and gave him to me hardly moving in the evening in the even worse condition, I though they put him under sedatives. Next day I called saying that he is getting even worse has difficulties breathing, they said they can only do a follow-up visit the following day, because they are busy. My cat passed away before that visit in the emergency room 2 minutes after I brought him, his heart was not responding to CPR, his lungs were full of liquids they were giving him. Their failure to detect the most common and easily identifiable disease didn't just shorten his life, but also made him suffer the last hours. That was the smartest cat who would never eat a hairtie, which was not in the X-ray, it was just the vet's assumption because cats often do thag and thaf is the most common reason for his condision. Unfortunately I brought him to this place by recommendation. So, please, don't make the same mistake.

They killed my sweet bunny. They have never provided an answer of exactly what went wrong and why he didn’t come back. This was for a SIMPLE teeth cleaning as I was told. They then hit my husband with a bill and another for us to pay for him to be home. 6 weeks after waiting my husband contacted them and they said oh he’s in the back freezer. You never paid for him to be cremated. Handling the entire situation with absolute negligence. Hopefully they will soon provide better answers as to how and why.

If you have a beloved exotic animal. DO NOT BRING THEM HERE.

I love this veterinary care center. It’s clean and spacious. The staff is helpful and the male vet was wonderful working with my cat. He did a very thorough exam and asked me many questions. He wasn’t rushed at all and explained in detail what my cat’s issue was. I highly recommend Critter Care for your fur baby’s needs.

These beautiful people go above and beyond to make sure my boy is well taken care of. The staff is outstanding and work hard. I cannot begin to say just how much I appreciate them and the care they gave my boy Ragnar. They have consistently shown compassion, love and care to every pet I have brought in. I highly recommend Critter Care!
Update: Ragnar is doing much better and is with us still. Thank you Critter Care for helping my sweet boy!

Dr. Powell is amazing!! Our Mini Pig Twila Jean had a blockage in her stomach, she was very sick & in pain. Thankfully her amazing doctor was able to clear the blockage and get her back to normal. We are forever grateful for her and her hard work!! Only thing negative I can say is I wish the techs communication was better & due to short staffing it’s understandable. Very clean and the staff is very friendly/respectful. I will be bringing our girl back for sure!!!

My cat of 8 years died in their care after multiple mistakes and ungodly miscommunication amongst the staff and doctors. My cat went in for a routine blockage in his urinary tract. I was told he would be catheterized, and they would pull it after 3 days and see if he was able to urinate on his own. I spoke with Cody on Thursday (2 days after I put him in their care), and he himself told me that he was going to pull the catheter out to see if he could urinate. I go into the clinic the next day, surprise visit, and could hear Dr. Powell/techs talking about my cat outside my exam room door. The catheter should've stayed in for another day but was pulled prematurely. Then Dr. Powell comes into the exam room and lies to my face, telling me my cat pulled it out on his own. We had talked about, from the start,if he wasn't able to pee on his own when they pulled the catheter out, they might need to open up his urethra. I had approved them to do the surgery the first day and told them i had another $1000 to put towards the surgery, on top of the $275, I put down for a walk-in fee/emergency fee towards his treatment. According to their treatment plan, surgery was going to be the next step if he was not able to urinate on his own when they pulled the catheter. Cody said he was able to urinate a little, but not the full stream they wanted, without help. But it was positive news, we thought. One could say, if the surgery was performed then, he might've made it. But no, they just left him for 24 hours after the catheter was pulled out prematurely, not able to pee, no catheter, no way for his already stressed organs to get relief. He was already critical, and they wasted the MOST valuable time. Why wasn't the surgery I had already approved of performed after the first screw up? When he was still stable enough for surgery? They then recatherized him, yalls guess is as good as mine as to why that was done instead of surgery. He didnt do well with the sedation, developed an infection, and then his kidneys shut down over 4 more days. According to them. The miscommunication is UNREAL and is costing people their family members. My beautiful boy, who i had for 8 years and was my first cat, died there yesterday. I've been a customer for 12 years, but I'll never bring my animals back to this place. I feel partially responsible, i shouldn't have come back after they misdiagnosed my 15 year old Maltese. I figured we all make mistakes, so I gave them another chance. They were literally about to put her through surgery because of their misdiagnosis. When i took her in for surgery, a different doctor looked at her and said she didn't need surgery at all. Doctor Hubbard is literally the only reason I gave them another chance. I had had nothing but good to say prior to that. After i said something about Dr. Powell lying to my face, she wouldn't call me with updates on my cats care or talk to me. I guess I'd be ashamed, too.

My boy didn't deserve this. He was my first cat and the BEST boy. Rest in peace, Fitzgerald. We love and miss you so much, booty boy.

UPDATED (06/21/24)- Went in to request a complete copy of my deceased boys' file, and the office manager told me it wasn't updated and that Dr. Hubbard would have to "write them up." Nothing surprises me from this place at this point. Patient files are kept incomplete. At any given time, your pets medical file is incomplete and does not reflect the most recent information. How are you supposed to provide competent medical care when the patients' files are incomplete for days at a time? How is the doctor/tech behind you supposed to know what was done?
