They saved my eldest cat! She turns 9yrs old next month & I accidentally mixed up her flea medicine with my dogs' & she had 3 seizures 1 that lasted 15 minutes. It wasn't much for her treatment & it was super effective! Thanks to the staff so much! I was very scared as this has never happened. They were calm, quick, & professional. Again, thank you so much for saving my Navi.

The best Veterinarian place I have ever taken my Marilyn. She is now 16 years old and every time they take such good care of her. The staff is very loving and caring about your dog. Very open about procedures and prices. Give lots of tips and recommendations. All of them are great - highly recommend to take your fur-baby here for the best care. Best part is they are family run!

Brought dogs in for a prescription for heartworm meds. It took a failed visit to the pharmacy and four phone calls over one week to get it. Here's the play-by-play:

Us: "So, can we get the prescription we just paid for?"
Them: "Just give the pharmacist our information and they'll verify with us."
Later, at Costco Pharmacy: "Sorry, we need a hardcopy."
Us, back on the phone with the vet: "Costco needs a hardcopy."
Them: "Sure, we'll email it to you."
Us, a week later: "We never received the prescription."
Them: "So sorry, let me get that sent out right away."
Them, an hour later: "Actually, our vets don't give out written prescriptions anymore, because the Veterinary Board wants everything done electronically now. But you can always order the meds online through our affiliate pharmacy. Oh but also, the meds you're asking for are for dogs 6mo. and up; let us recommend you a different medication."
Us: "We just looked up the official drug fact sheet, and it says it's for dogs 8wks and up. Also we just looked up California state law that says veterinarians are required to give written prescriptions upon request."
Them: "Oh, oops, we thought you were talking about a different drug. Also the vet you saw doesn't have any prescription pads with his name on them, but we'll get the other vet to write your prescription."

Why am I being directed to shop with their affiliate? Why do I have to look up medical and legal information to present a case for something I paid for? Why did I have to wait an extra week to get my dogs the meds they need?

Thanks, but no thanks.

I run a small cat rescue, so needless to say, I spend a LOT of time at the vet. I moved away from my old vet to Culver City, and I was very worried I wouldn't be able to find a vet here that met my super high standards. After seeing a bunch of other vets in the area I finally found Dr. Hilleary (don't get me wrong, many of the other vets were just fine - but "just fine" doesn't cut it when I have a rotating door of cats and kittens coming in off the streets suffering from all sorts of known and unknown medical conditions). She has been great at diagnosis and treatment options, and is also open to considering all of my theories and nonstop input.

So as someone who has worked with more than 20 vets from all over Los Angeles, take it from me that Dr. Hilleary is who you want treating your pet. She's knowledgeable about new advancements in veterinary medicine (you'd be surprised by how many vets - and doctors for that matter - don't do the work to stay on the cutting edge of new treatments, and instead just default to the "tried and true"). I never leave google reviews, but I know there are a lot of other people out there scouring the internet for a good vet in Los Angeles, because I was doing the same thing. So I'm hoping seeing this will make it easier.

Remember when you call to ask for an appointment with Dr. Hilleary specifically. The office staff are very nice and accommodating.

After I had my Calli girl spayed (elsewhere) 48 hours later there was a problem. The Clinic that spayed her did not respond. Dr. Hilleary and her great staff saw us on an emergency appointment. Staff, (both front and back office) were kind and courteous. Dr. Heidi was gentle, very knowledgeable and treated Calli excellently with her expertise. Treatment plans, prices and conservative options were presented and discussed prior to starting treatment. I very much appreciated that. Prices were in line and very fair, for the area. All in all, Calli has recovered wonderfully and I have found a new veterinarian I can trust! I totally recommend CulverCity Animal Hospital!?

We took our puppy in for Parvovirus and decided to do the in-home treatment for financial reasons. We were given all the equipment including needles and liquid IV bags when we asked how to properly administer the IV there was a male employee who told my partner that it was all in the bag to just read it. When my partner asked again for more clarification he proceeded to tell him "Just Youtube it" and he walked away. That was completely uncalled for and just plain rude. We decided to go else where to treat our puppy. I won't be coming back here and would not recommend it.

The most helpful, supportive, and caring staff. My cat suddenly stopped eating and clearly was having mouth pain, I recently moved to California and did not have a vet. On top of it being impossible to get an appointment it’s so hard to know who you can trust. I called around and thankfully was able to get an appointment here 3 days later. I hope I am getting the name right but (Louis) the staff member who came to our car was so kind and warm and I just knew he actually cared about my pets well being. After they had taken my cat inside we got a call from the Dr who asked questions and actually listened to the answers. She walked me through everything they were doing and kept me informed. I am a bit of a panicked pet owner and they kept me at ease, she even gave me her phone number in case I needed anything. I could not be more grateful.
