I was as nervous as my GSD Moses! From the front desk ,to the vet technicians to the Doctor. They all are so sweet, and not only care for your pet but ,they really care for the owner of pet as well. This place really welcomes you like family and open arms. My Moses been ill and i'am a new mom. I called they got me in a very busy schedule. Moses never seen them yet. The pulled thru to squeeze us in . Even that being said ,they took time with Moses. They didn't rush or make me feel they needed to hurry . They impressed me. They calmed my dog and they calmed me to. They answered all questions. Educated me on things I had no ideal about. When I called them with issues Moses was having ,I was crying . They talked me Thur what to do until my apt. They told me if I needed more help or questions call them back and again they will walk me Through what to do. Now I know it's my first experience with them and first illness visit. I hope it's like the experience I'm telling you about I had every time. If you need a place to go and you don't know where or if your at a place your not getting the care Moses and I received ,you need to call now your loved one deserves the best and you deserve to be treated with love compassion and understanding of you pet and educated . Asking questions to learn what's best for your pet shouldn't be made to make you feel bad or your a bother. Ok I'm done telling the world how great this place is . But it is and was a great experience for us and I highly recommend them to all. Thank you kindly Danville Veterinary Hospital

Dr Stone, Dr Tamaki, and Dr Bailey are all amazing. They tried their best to help with my sweet boy, whom we lost 2 months ago. They put up with my smaller, 15yo demon dog, and they got my new baby established. They are kind and listen carefully when there is a concern. Baxter, Muffin Cakes, and Rengoku have all been well cared for!

Outstanding experience all the way from the ladies at the front desk, to vet tech Allison and Dr. Stone. I was devastated when my former ‘assembly line’ walk in clinic vet told me she had no time to explain her thought process as part of what she considered end of life care. A huge burden has been lifted off my shoulders knowing my precious fur baby now has a competent and compassionate vet to help us thru his final days.

It wasn’t a good time but it was a wonderful experience. A few months ago we had to say goodbye to the best dog ever. Penny was her name, I’m humbled to be the one that seen her from her first days on earth til her last, to be with her and provide love and comfort when she took her last breath. The entire team at this facility dropped what they were doing to assist us from the point we pulled into the parking lot, all the way til the end when we walked out. Penny was at peace she went in. She was at peace when she went to the other side in comfort, all because of the care and compassion that was provided. And it does not end there. A week later it was time to pick up the ashes and bring her home for good, again nothing but kindness and the comfort feeling that not only are these gals in this line of business because they love animals but they also love people, they love life and make it easy when times are really bad, to see a shining light at the end of the tunnel.
A few days later I received a sympathy card and a garden stone in the mail, from the doctor and the team, totally not expecting that. I know they will read this at some point and I really hope it gets shared throughout the entire facility. From my family to everyone on the team at DVH, we are grateful that we choose to come there and to receive the warm comfort that was much needed at the time, your kindness and your hearts are not forgotten nor will they be, I have a reminder everyday, when I walk outside and see the garden stone. I remember my baby and how she was comforted til the end and treated with the special treatment she so deserved. It really helps when you have good hearted people doing great things. We are new to the Danville area and serious dog owners. My middle-aged canine needed surgical extraction of several teeth and I am happy with the service provided. He is recovering quickly and pertinent treatment info was provided in a timely manner we received a 24 hour phone call and they said we could expect another. Location does not offer any flexible payment terms to any customers, regardless of credit.

The vets, Dr Crystal and Dr Tamaki are absolutely amazing and wonderful! The place is clean and welcoming, and I and my pets felt at ease the moment we walked in. MacKenzie, one of the receptionists, was very personable and friendly, I enjoyed talking with her while I waited.

Definitely would recommend, if you are looking for a great vet!

I'm glad they helped our dog. Went in the office today, and the blonde with bright fingernails behind the desk had an extremely rude look on her face. When I spoke to my wife later about my experience there, she guessed exactly who it was because she was rude, giving dirty looks when she was there also. Why do people go to jobs they apparently are not happy at. The only assumption I can make is that maybe they are family.

We are always happy and excited for DVH checkups! On our latest visit, our vet tech advised us on vaccines that ended up saving us money, and made sure our girl was well distracted by yummy treats when she did get the poke (she was none the wiser). I also requested no peanut butter distractions for this visit (due to a visiting family member with allergies) and they limited that exposure for us. I always love how the charges and procedures are carefully explained before service is rendered.
