The staff here is absolutely incredible!! My cat got a nasty respiratory infection, they were able to see her that day, and they were so gentle and patient with my grumpy girl. Gave her some shots, sent us home with meds, and 9 days worth of calorie dense food because she hasn’t been eating well. Answered every question I had and were extremely emphatic. Will 10/10 be making them our family vet because of how amazing they were to my baby in an emergency 🥹🖤

These guys are the best! Caring and compassionate people who went out of their way to make sure my dog was seen THAT DAY because I was so worried about him. I called other places (closer to me) first and was told they didn't have time until 2-6 weeks later. I will be transferring all records to them and drive over an hour to get there. Happy to report my dog is almost back to his old self! THANK YOU!

You answered all our questions and put us at ease that you would do your best to take care of Luna. This is the 1st veterinary clinic I've took her to that she was not anxious about going in the door and was ok with all your workers. You did a great job on both her surgeries, and she is getting along well adjusting with one eye. Thank you very much for taking good care of her.

EXCELLENT clinic/hospital to take your fur-babies for medical care/needs. Staff ARE ALWAYS pleasant, caring, understanding, and they acknowledge THEIR Clients. My husband and I wish we would have made the switch from Anthony Animal Clinic-who DO Not have those qualities. I KNOW!!! I WAS a previous employee who
KNOWS from experience of what goes on in that clinic-since the new owners took over after Dr Kerley retired-who WAS/IS a super caring individual and veterinarian 🤗 thus WHY I NO longer work there.(besides having my own health issues).

Jillie Bean, our 14 yr old border collie (we had to make that difficult decision to euthanize last June ) is pictured in a vibrant colored photograph created by an AWESOME gal on FB of OUR fur-baby. Jillie WAS A special family member who IS dearly missed every single moment.

And, no WE DON'T have 5 kitties, 2 are outside misplaced babies we TRY to care for as good as we can........We can only get so close before they run off.

DVC is AWESOME 👏 even tho it's a farther drive for us. My husband and I WOULDN'T go ANYWHERE else!!!!!

We have been using Decatur Vet for nearly 10 years. We tried to switch once to a place that was closer to home, but didn't care for the experience, so we came back. The care of this staff from the front desk, to the vet techs and the doctors are absolutely wonderful. We almost always see Dr. Suhrer, who has probably seen me cry more than I care for her to, and she's always so comforting. She gives me the good, the bad, the ugly and all the in betweens, which I appreciate. I am always confident that she will take care of my furbabies and know that when they are in her care they will be taken care.
