Dr Smiley at Devonshire Vet clinic is the most compassionate vet I have ever met. He walks into the room and immediately connects with my cats like they are his own. He listens intently to me and has always given great support and advice when I feel frustrated with some behavioral issues that arise. He’s thorough with his physical examinations. My cats are indoor cats and don’t see many people except for me. But he handles them with care and they seem to trust him and stay calm. The vet techs and the front desk attendants are all very friendly and I feel very happy to be there to help me. It’s important to me that I have found that kind of atmosphere to take care of my cats and also me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE!!!

I have been extremely impressed with Devonshire Vet Clinic since transferring my pet care about three years ago. Their staff and providers are all very attentive and thorough, taking to time to answer all of our questions. I am especially impressed with their use of updated technology for appointments, texting, and general communication. I'm happy to report my boy Max is in the best hands!

DO NOT take your animals here. Absolutely abhorrent customer service and treatment. After pulling on our 15 year old dog during the appointment and refusing to ease up alarms bells starting ringing. They put my dog’s health in jeopardy by changing a medicine we’ve gotten from them many times to a chewable medicine without telling us first. This medicine formulary doesn’t properly break in to even dosing. When I notified them of their mistake and wanted a refund they told me I was breaking them wrong. I used my hands and a pill cutter and they’re still not splitting evenly. They offered to do it for me because they apparently have a magic pill cutter. They did admit to being wrong and not informing us of this change. I feel like that misinformation alone should warrant a refund but they would rather lose business than refund $62. I had been warned several times by both friends and our customers to stay away but I had to learn the expensive lesson for myself today. I’m sure they’ll comment back about how incorrect and awful I am, especially with how two employees spoke with me on the phone, but I had to get the warning out there.

Dr. Smiley is awesome. He remembers my furbabies when he comes in the room and actually takes the time to stop and talk to me about what is going on with him and his bedside manner is second to very few. Dr. Blasdel I haven't had as much interaction with, but what interaction I have had has been great. The staff at the front desk are always there to greet you with a smile and coordinate medication pick ups with my crazy schedule! Owning 2 dogs wouldn't be near as enjoyable if I didn't have Dr. Smiley and his team backing me up medically to ensure my fur babies are living their best lives!

This place is amazing. Fixed up my granddog Blitz and grandcat Willy. Both are older boys but are back to as normal as can be for their age. Thanking Dr. Smiley and staff for the quick, awesome service and getting them better!!!!

Excellent staff! Dr Smiley is awesome . They were able to get my pup in the next day which is extremely hard to find these days. If you need excellent vet care this is your pets best friend!

Dr Smiley is so kind, compassionate and knowledgeable. He listened and was there when we needed him. ALL of the nurses and office staff are also so kind and involved. The office is very clean and welcoming.

I cant believe the lack of compassion from this place! Our dog recently gave birth to a beautiful litter of 6 pups. This morning (2 days old) we noticed one of our girl pups was very lethargic and cold and was struggling to latch to nurse. We had to perform CPR and rescue breaths to get her reactive again. We rushed her to this office to try and get some emergency nutrition and WE WERE TURNED AWAY! We explained that she did not have the time to get her down to Fishers (the nearest ER Vet) and she was actively dying. There was nothing else wrong with the pup, she just struggling latching and we were planning on bottle feeding (but no 24 hour store near by.) But were still turned away. She was still reactive at this time. Not even 10 minutes later this precious pup died in my hands. We were buys bottles and formula and had her warmed up, but it was too late.
I cannot for the life of me understand why someone would turn away a dying puppy, especially when you are in the business of saving animals. This death is on you and I will NEVER trust you with another one of my fur babies.
