Everyone starting with the receptionist was friendly and helpful. You can tell they truly love animals and want to help. We brought in a lost dog to make sure she was healthy and they were so gentle and loving. Talked us through what we needed and what we didn't. Their follow-up to make sure we were all still doing good was amazing. High recommend. We will be taking our 3 cats in there as we were looking for a new veterinarian.

I changed Vet offices after 5 years, so you can imagine I did not take this change lightly. Dogwood has a new Urgent Care open on Saturdays and Sundays 8am to 8pm. I have 2 big goofball. 1 English Cream Golden retriever and 1 Golden Pyrenes. 1 has back, leg , paw and knee arthritis and one EATS a lot of things that are not edible or digestible. URGENT Care is so important to us all. Stuff rarely happens 9 to 5 during the week. Doc Horsley and staff have been so patient with me in answering all my many questions about things we can do and try to help my YOUNG Aspen (5 yrs old) with all the aches and pains , they made me feel right at home and not rushed. If you are looking for a new place to call your Vet home, I highly recommend them. and I am one PICKY momma! My BOYS come 1st!

First visit with our geriatric kitty who had an episode of loosing balance. All during Christmas holiday season. Called around area and they were so sweet and accommodating to our kitties needs. Hopeful she gets better with treatment plan. After seeing vet we felt optimism with her future. Affordable, accommodating and super nice staff.

Dr Tolbert and Gabby are AWESOME. Very knowledgeable and caring. Very thorough. I was at ease with the advice and decision about my pups problem. After only a couple of doses of meds Murphy has made progress. I want them to be my pets doctor and assistant. TOTALLY RECOMMEND THEM AT DOGWOOD VET.

GRATEFUL!
I am very appreciative of the team at Dogwood. After a terribly upsetting experience with Dr. Houssam Marseli of West GA Mobile Vet, Dogwood took great care of our cat 'Ranger'. Let me explain: Ranger became matted after rolling around in some form of 'hitchhikers' or 'briars'. He was miserable and does not take to being brushed well at all. We reached out to Dr. Houssam Marseli about the situation and made arrangements to bring him the next morning to be sedated and shaved, as he had done it for Ranger before back in March. When I arrived he refused to take him and denied ever doing it before. He didn't even come out to face me and explain our options. I was shocked and extremely upset. On our way home I stopped at Dogwood Veterinary Hospital and explained the situation. They were very accommodating and took him in that very morning to be examined, sedated and shaved. It was a seamless experience and Ranger feels like a new cat. Thank you Dogwood for helping us so quickly. You truly are empathetic and treat your clients exceptionally well.

Dogwood was not our vet until my sweet Moxie fell ill and our normal vet could not see her. We called at 8:00am and told them what was happening. They agreed to us coming in, pulled her records from the other vet, and had us in their door by 9:30am. Moxie at the age of 18 was at the end of life and Dogwood was most accommodating helping us make her and us as comfortable as possible. They let us wait in a room apart from an examine room to love on her while waiting for my daughter to come in from Kennesaw to say good bye to her best friend of 18 wonderful years.
I am forever grateful for kindness and compassion of the entire staff! You will be our vet fur-ever more! ?

Of course being knowledgeable is important, and they absolutely are. But the human touch is huge to me. All of the staff at Dogwood Vet are so kind and understanding. They always make me feel like my pet is safe with them and that they genuinely care about my pets well-being as well as mine. To me, the caring and compassion make this vet office a winner.
