Truly the best vet in all of St Petersburg. Dr. Mark and his staff were so kind and patient and helped to ease all my concerns with regards to my fur baby. He treated her abscess on her front elbow and she is healing nicely! Would absolutely recommend to anyone to him if you want a personalized and welcoming experience. Thank you, Dr. Mark and staff 🙂

Really awesome experience all around. They are always on time for appointments. Our dog Ted is a complicated case and has a lot going on (allergies, skin stuff, ear infections, etc). Dr. Scribano took his time with us and created a treatment plan to get to the root cause as opposed to just treating symptoms. Our previous vet would just give him antibiotics all the time which it turns out, he really didn't need. He's been so much better lately and I am extremely happy with the service that we have gotten here.

This was hands down the best vet I have ever been to. My cat hates the vet. She’s quite literally terrified every single time we go. I recently moved to st Pete full time so I was nervous to try a new vet. I explained to them how much she hates the vet and they were so accommodating. The receptionist was sweet enough to have a room ready when we got there so that she didn’t have to see the other animals. The vet tech Sarah and doctor both sat on the floor with my cat and we’re so patient (she isn’t the nicest). I never felt embarrassed for having a cat that doesn’t love the vet and I truly appreciated them. Not to mention she got great care and they know what they are doing! Take your fur babies here!

I saw online that they examine ferrets. Called, confirmed this was so and booked an appt. The veterinarian was friendly, we were there about 10 mins and told to come back if conditions worsened. When they did and I called again I was told that the Veterinarian I saw is retired and can’t really diagnose anything anyway and was referred elsewhere. Somewhere far more expensive and not near me. My question is…..if this was ALWAYS going to be the case….why did I have to spend any money in the first place for a bogus visit. I had to also pay a new “exam fee” at the place I was “recommended” to go. The whole thing was a major rip off and I’m very disappointed in not only the receptionist but also is the “retired veterinarian” we saw. If you’re retired and can’t diagnose then either say that from the get go so people don’t waste money or have a talk with your receptionist so she isn't making your practice look like a money grab and go. I would NOT recommend anyone taking their FERRETS to this place. And while I’m sure that I’ll get a nice snarky reply about how this is my fault. I want to know why anyone with ferrets would go here if ultimately nothing can be done in the end.
RESPONSE TO THEIR RESPONSE- Again….if all that can be done for FERRETS is simplistic in nature, then we should be let known that in advance….$75 FEE down the drain. I don’t care what you say but I should have been told the visit would be simplistic in nature especially AFTER I had described the reason why I was bringing my ferret in! I told the receptionist about her issues, I was not told that a nail clipping and other superficialities are all they can offer.

We came in as first time clients and brought a difficult bird to be seen and treated. The office when you walk in is very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The receptionist was also very welcoming and made the beginning of this experience wonderful.
I have to say from the start, we were absolutely amazed at the time, attention and lack of hurry the vet gave us. He did not seem to be in a rush at all . He took the time to hear my concerns, asked me questions then proceeded to address each issue individually while he examined the bird. She was a complicated bird as she's new and I had questions I needed answered as well as information on how to proceed in helping her get better. He continued to discuss her and his findings while examining her. I was very pleased to find a vet who involved us in his observations . The things he did do to her he did perfect. She was already on a road to getting better and he assisted greatly.
I have already been referring my friends and others to this office and will continue to do so. I will also say, we we're shocked when we were ready to leave. We expected a much higher bill. That too was a shock which made this wonderful experience seal the fact that this office will now be the vet we choose for any animal we have.

We brought our ferret into see this vet this week. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and made us feel at ease. We felt so comfortable that will be bringing our cat & dog in for their annuals now. Chose this vet because of the great reviews & that they could see “pocket pets” but will be coming back because the Dr was awesome!

Scooter had a wonderful first experience at the Pets In The City office yesterday. (He just became a part of the Northeast Pet Hospital and we were very satisfied with their professionalism and care.) Scooter is a recently rescued older dog (11) and the staff were patient and kind to him. The groomer was friendly and knowledgeable. She caringly made the little man more comfortable for the hot summer days. The assistants were welcoming and helpful. We'll be returning! Results below.
