Usually satisfied with Dr. Dan vet office. Last visit for annual checkup was a bit of a disappointment. They did take temperature, but that was about it. No looking in our dog's ears or mouth. Barely touched her body. Our dog does not like to have her blood taken so they do muzzle her for that--but that was for heartworm check. Just not really enthusiastic with this place anymore.

We took 2 feral kittens in for spay and have been back to keep up with flea protection monthly. The clinicians have been very accomodating each time. No complaints!

Oh... We have used nothing but Dr. Dan's since we moved to Vero Beach, almost four years ago. They got all of us through Covid; they understand if there's an emergency and you need to fit in somehow. But mostly they're experts and caring with dogs and other animals. Their staff. It's courteous. The parking is good and the wait time is not bad. We would not go anywhere else. Pricing can be very high with veterinarians but I think Dr. Dan and partners understand and it's not out the roof at all. It ain't cheap but neither is the love of our dog, Gigi. Simply put.. I love these vets. Plenty of parking, clean inside, wonderful techs.

This is an amazing place! They were able to get my cat Pepper in as an emergency visit and was able to do surgery that day! They saved my little girl life! I’ll be forever grateful for them ❤️ The cost of the surgery was cheaper than every other place I called. They are so sweet to my little girl and was very efficient in taking care of her!

I'm so glad I decided to pay this veterinary office a visit!! All of the staff members were so kind and patient with me and my dog. Plus Dr Dan is such a nice guy. He took the time to explain my dogs condition, as well as ALL of my options rather than trying to wring me for as much money as possible like our previous vet office. I'm sad to be leaving them behind when I move, but hopefully my review can convince other people to see him!

Misdiagnosed my cat, he had a limp that wouldn’t go away on his left leg for about a month. My wife had to persist on getting an x ray. Dr Dan determined a luxating patella (knee dislocation), and said it was a common injury on cats and suggested we take him elsewhere for surgery to fix it. My wife wasn’t satisfied with the initial diagnosis and opted for a second opinion with our dogs vet at VCA where she was told that he had a mild infection and needed antibiotics for it. Dr Dans refused to squeeze us in and said they’re closing in an hour and a half. It took another vet calling them to finally agree to treat our cat they misdiagnosed in the first place! So after that debacle we took him in to VCA and the first thing they checked were his gums, they were pale and the Doc explained that he probably has anemia. They wanted to do bloodwork because it was not even suggested at Dr Dans and also redid the Xray due to poor quality from Dr Dans. We got the X-rays immediately ( X-rays at Dr Dans took half a day and my wife had to call them to even get the results) and it was bad news, our boy had cancer. Sadly our boy passed away yesterday 6-18. He was only 3 years old. My wife and I are absolutely devastated and although the docs at VCA told us that even if the other Vet diagnosed him correctly the first time the outcome would’ve been the same. It just doesn’t sit right with me the display of negligence from Dr Dans during this whole process.

Also our cat was adopted from Dr Dan’s.

Great experience! My dog doesn't like strangers touching her. The last vet couldn't get this through their head and insisted on muzzeling her and holding her down. They wanted her drugged on her next visit. NO next visit! Dr.Dans office allowed me to essentially do the visit by showing them her teeth and ears and providing stool and swab samples. They drew blood from a back leg; which was not traumatic for her at all. She didn't get a full body once over, but I'm comfortable knowing she won't freak out on our next visits and will have a chance to know and trust them. They listened to me. What is better than that?
