Gotta love this place!! This is a NO kill animal shelter. They rescue as many animals as they can from Animal Control to give the dogs and cats a fighting chance for a new home thru adoptions. It is amazing how clean the facility is. They operate on a shoe string budget so donations would be greatly appreciated.

I thought a Humane Society wanted to adopt out dogs. So if you just happen to show up you can’t even look to see what’s there because oh they’re not open and wont even let you look unless you call for an appointment. Seems like a crazy way to do business

Not a bad place...one lady said the dogs go quick which is good. the older lady that was there wasn't very nice but the younger lady was very nice, welcoming and veru helpful. A little word to the cranky lady...if you want to adopt our dogs...maybe you should treat your customers with respect and not treat them like trash.

My mom done volunteer work there, and this place IS NOT a no kill shelter. At least not while she was there. An older couple came in with a family dog that they have had for a long time, but were just too old to take care of it properly. They brought it to this shelter because they thought the dog would be safe. The breed of dog was a pit bull. Before the couple even got out of the parking lot good, they were already prepping to euthanize the dog. My mom begged them to let her take the dog, but they refused all because of the breed it was. The animals that came in, more so the strays than those that were dropped off, were given a set amount of days before they were also euthanized. The felines sadly got less days than the canines. Smh I wish that couple would have came back about an hour later claiming they had a change of heart and when finding out the truth to what happened, exposed them. We ended up adopting a puppy that was there during the time my mom was doing some volunteer work there. She's 11 now and I thank God we were able to save at least one life. Smh ?
