The staff here from the front desk to the assistants to the veterinarians all treat your fuzzy babies with love, care, support, and understanding. I have cats that don’t care much for the carrier and the visit. The doctors that see my cats are like cat whisperers. They manage to get everything done in a way that calms my cat (and me too). So grateful for Dundee Animal Hospital. Don’t look anywhere else.

I cannot recommend Dundee Animal Hospital of Algonquin enough. Dr. O'Brien Jungels cared for my cockatiel (who has been suffering from a chronic sinus infection for some time) and I have seen a drastic improvement in my bird's health.

The Doctor was knowledgeable, patient, and came up with a comprehensive and realistic treatment plan (both long and immediate term) and examined my bird in the room with me (my previous veterinarian rarely would examine my birds while I was present due to lack of examination rooms)

Appointment time was very prompt and I was taken care of right away--at my old vet, I would be at the appointment for a minimum of 3 hours due to their caseload (with no check ins or updates on queue/triage status)

All in all, this was night and day from my past experiences, and I am so grateful to have found a new vet for my birds! Thank you so much!

Dr. Eileen is beyond amazing! She is so gentle and caring with my kitties, and we all know how difficult it is to put our cats in a carrier and bring them to the vet. She makes every visit calm and easy. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for those loved ones who are most important in the world to me.

I had to bring my pomeranian named Kozi (11.5 years old) in on Wednesday night.
She had a neck injury and possible spine. Dr. Gurevich was so caring and compassionate. He sent us home with pain meds hoping she'd improve. We'll she sadly got worse and we had to rush her back in today. He could tell she was in pain and couldn't evenstand on her own. I was devastated as I knew the most humane option was to let her go. Dr. Gurevich gave us time to decide. I sadly knew what I needed to do. They made her so comfortable and let us stay as long as we needed.
Everyone who worked there were simply the best!!! The took us right away and were so kind. Thank God my cousin was with me. I HIGHLY recommend Dundee Animal Hospital. Please do not go to Companion Animal Care in Crystal Lake on Rakow! We first went there on Wednesday night, no one waiting , told us after a 20 minte wait it would be 3-4 hours for my fur baby to be seen while in horrific pain. SHAME ON THEM!! Always choose Dundee Animal Hospital. Thank you

Dundee Animal Hospital has been caring for my 19 year old cat, Buster, for about 7 years. Every time I have had a concern about his health, he was promptly examined by one of the vets. Every time they showed care and concern, and correctly diagnosed Buster and prescribed the appropriate medicine and/or treatment. One of their vets even diagnosed a fatal tumor on his neck and successfully removed it. The surgical cost was reasonable and appropriate. My cat has two ongoing ailments that are being properly treated by medicine. The wonderful care for my cat by Dundee Animal Hospital staff is a contributing factor to his long life that he is still actually enjoying!
