We had an extremely positive experience at this animal hospital. We had traveled quite a distance to see their neurologist, Dr. G Tracy. His reputation and knowledge drew us to him. From the time we called for an appointment until we left after our appointment, we found nothing but positives to this hospital. The building is extremely clean, spacious and inviting. The staff was professional and courteous. Once we met Dr. Tracy, we knew the trip was totally worth it. Aside from being incredibly knowledgeable, he was friendly, kind and patient. He really listened to our problem with our dog and answered a plethora of questions. He gave us the time we needed and we felt so comfortable with him treating our dog. He really cares! We made a very good decision going to this animal hospital and only wish we lived closer so we could make this our permanent veterinary center for our dog. I would recommend them and especially Dr. Tracy to everyone with a pet!

I transferred my dog here from our family vet, it was a tough decision because we love our family vet however we felt she was not responding to their treatment. Upon our transfer, we were greeted by smiling faces. After 5 days with this team my dog has made quite some surprising progress. It’s all due to the efforts and support of the staff. We are so grateful to their persistence and dedication to truly taking care of our dog. Also a very special thank you to the front desk receptionists, they answered every call and never gave an attitude or showed that they were under pressure, they listened to everything and helped us feel a bit more comfortable with deciding on this stay for our dog.

I lost my beautiful baby because of the carelessness of this facility. I was racially targeted by the front desk receptionist Crystal Brensinger. She’s also front desk supervisor. She wouldn’t let me see my cat and refused to give me updates or even relay a message to her nurse. From the moment we walked in she rudely told us we needed an “appointment “ for a visit to see my cat which is not true. I asked her to check on my cat and give me her vital signs and she said she had no access to it . Which was another made up lie. Then I asked her to ask the nurse and she comes back to tell me the nurse was no where to be seen. Another lie . I asked her to set up an appointment so I could see my baby and she said she can’t do that because that’s the nurses job. Another one of her lies . At the end I asked her to have the nurse call me with updates and she straight up ignores me . They stopped calling to update me on her condition. The only time they called was when they needed more money. After seeing the carelessness of the staff I had to forcibly remove her from their care. My baby came home with cuts and bruises. She took her last breath in my arms. Don’t take your fur babies to this facility. Theses people have no compassion. If I could give this place a rating of negative infinity I would .

The staff here were very thorough, professional, kind, caring, and listened to my concerns about my dog Rudy! They were so good with him when taking care of him throughout the whole appointment and I was so grateful for all their help in making my Rudy feel better and with the diagnosis from the Vet. They are truly exceptional and love what they do from the front desk staff to the Techs and Vet!!! Would definitely recommend them to anyone! It was a drive from my house but if I ever have another emergency with my pup I will absolutely contact them again!!

I can’t thank Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center enough for the incredible care they provided to my dog, Quinn! He’s a huge, rambunctious German Shepherd puppy, and when his primary vet suspected a possible obstruction, we were referred here. From the very first call, I knew Quinn was in the best hands. The front desk team, Amanda and Kathleen, were so helpful—texting me beforehand to handle the paperwork, making check-in smooth and quick.

When we arrived, we were seen immediately, and Dr. Hoffman and the ER team were simply amazing! Despite Quinn’s big size and playful energy, they took the time to gather a complete history and made sure he got the best possible care. Their dedication and genuine concern for his well-being was so reassuring.

The after-hours team also did a fantastic job. Sarah, who I knew from Pocono Peak, personally reached out to me before Quinn stayed overnight. Knowing she was there watching over my rambunctious pup gave me so much peace of mind!

What really blew me away was how compassionate and professional the staff was—not just with Quinn, but with every pet and family that came through the door. I saw them consistently show the same care and respect to everyone.

And the best part? Thanks to their exceptional care, Quinn is back to being his happy, playful self! Eastern PA Veterinary Medical Center truly went above and beyond for us, and I’m beyond grateful for the love and expertise they showed my pup.

Highly recommend this team—they treated Quinn like family and brought him back to health! Thank you!

Dr. Sam Christian and the staff at EPVMC saved our dog Caesar’s life! We were on a road trip from Tennessee to Rhode Island when our 11 year old Cane Corso Mastiff suddenly became ill. Suspecting bloat, we were recommended to EPVMC by the closest local vet we found, then called ahead as we rushed to the med center. We were immediately greeted at the door by 3 or 4 ppl ready to help save Caesar’s life. Dr. Christian then counseled my husband and I on surgery, outlooks, etc so we could make the best decision possible with what little time we had. We opted for surgery and were allowed to see him just before they put him under. Even our other dog Apollo was able to have a very brief visit.

Caesar’s care over the next 2 days was top notch. We received timely updates on his status, as well as a 24 line to call if needed. Upon his release, we were given precise instructions about all medications, incision care, etc, and extra help on how to get him safely back home. They also helped with the transfer of all his medical info to our local vet in RI.

If your dog needs emergency care, I cannot say enough good things about this place. We are forever grateful Dr. Christian and EPVMC were on our route home, or we may not have our beautiful boy still with us today ♥️

All of the people who work here are super caring!! They take care of your pet as if it were their own. When we were missing our boy I asked his nurse to send a picture and she did very promptly. They are just fabulous. Wouldn’t have wanted him to have this surgery anywhere else.

If your pet needs some kind of emergency assistance Eastern Pa Veterinary Clinic is the place to go. I watched them handle several emergencies while we were waiting and they were great. Very fast and efficient

I can’t say enough about Dr. Gibson and all of the staff here. Dr. Gibson recently removed a cyst from our 8 year old dog, Kalli. She did an excellent job all around. From the very first appointment I could tell she genuinely cared about the wellbeing of my four legged fur baby. She provided great communication and made my wife and I feel so much comfort before, during, and after the procedure. The nurses and others we met with were also very kind and informative. The surgery went extremely well, and recovery wasn’t as bad as I imagined. Kalli is 100% back to normal with no more scary cyst on her forehead!! If either one of my dogs ever need medical attention again, we know where to take them! Before and after pics below.
