We recently had to have our 9 month old shepweiler, Joey, put down due to a congenital kidney disorder. The staff here were very professional and compassionate, which went a long way in easing my daughter's anxiety during the procedure. We've had several dogs over the years and have always gone to Eastford Vet for their care and well being.

My dog went for annual check up had all tests done and nailsclipped and was very comfortable with Dr Japp. She is usually not a calm dog to bring there.. Thank you.

My poor rescue kitty had severe dental problems her whole life. Everywhere else quoted me over $1000 for Doodle's tooth removal. I paid less than half of that at Eastford and the staff was amazing. Doodle even let the vet hold her which blew my mind (she's extremely skiddish). I definitely found my new vet!

I've grown up going to this vet. It's been nothing but exceptional experiences even in bad times. They've been very accommodating, very professional, compassionate with very reasonable prices. My normal vet was unavailable for an emergency visit and referred me to Eastford Vet for immediate assistance. They had me and my pet seen within the hour and were the most caring and understanding staff I’ve ever had the privilege of meeting. I had all of my pets paperwork transferred from my (now old) vet to Eastford the same day. My animals are everything to me and it’s nice to have a vet truly understand that.

I adopted a dog during the height of the pandemic. She needed a physical and heart worm preventative and my vet of over 25 years said they could not see her for 6 months and would NOT prescribe heartworm preventative in the meantime without seeing her, even though the rescue organization gave her a heartworm test at the time of the adoption and I had a negative result in writing. Eastford Animal Clinic was nearby and I called and they took us right away and we were able to get her on heartworm preventative immediately. Last thing a rescued pup would need is to get heartworm, so I was very grateful. Also, a few months later I was petsitting and the customer's cat was having an eye problem and the cat's own vet couldn't see the cat! So I called Eastford and they let me bring the cat in right away. The cat was not even their customer but they still accommodated us. Just had a little infection and needed some drops.
This clinic has been great all around. Prices are reasonable too. I'm very happy I made this switch.
