Dr. George took care of my senior dog's surgery, and the results turned out great. My dog recovered in just three days, and she is now living her best life—very energetic and playful for a 12-year-old. I can't thank Dr. George and her team enough. They are always welcoming, informative, and caring. I could really feel that they genuinely care about animals in need. I was so touched every time they called to check on my dog, both before and after the surgery. Not only did they show a deep love for animals, but their transparency regarding the estimates for every treatment and surgery also provided us with peace of mind. We are so happy to have found a vet we can truly rely on.

I never evaluate places too soon; I normally wait until more visits, but this hospital experience exceeds my expectations. I had my French Poodle in her visit after getting her. All processes were first-class since booking the appointment. Dr. George is friendly and a good listener; she responded to all my concerns and gave me all recommendations for my puppy. The only issue with the clinic is that it is open Monday through Friday and there is no bilingual personnel. These two things will make this practice even more competitive. I am still pleased to come back, and I hope to have Dr. George for the long term as Maëva Vet!

Our Trixie received such excellent care with Dr. George and Leah for her annual exam and vaccines and then today to check her out after an upset stomach. Dr. George answered all of our questions and made us feel comfortable that our sweet girl was ok. I highly recommend this practice and will be getting our other poodle spayed next week.

I don’t write many reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience at Edgewater Animal Hospital.

I’ve been here twice, and both times I was blown away by the way in which my dog was cared for. I have a sweet, but at times difficult dog, and the way in which the staff and Veterinarians went above and beyond to accommodate his needs was so appreciated.

If you’re looking for a Vet, I would highly recommend Edgewater.

The place is very nice, it has a green area for patients to go out to relieve themselves, the area is extremely clean and smells very good and above all, the attention.
With our dog we have seen how comfortable she feels, they explain everything to us very well and we notice the honesty and professionalism at all times

Dr. George is simply amazing! Her level of care and expertise are phenomenal! Her staff is just as compassionate and professional!! Can’t say enough great things finding Edgewater!! My fur babies seemed very relaxed during their visit.

What a pleasure it is to have such a good veterinarian on Windward Parkway. I took my cat there for an annual check up, and was so pleased with Dr. George,. My cat did need dental work. Dr. George is caring and explains things very well. I felt good leaving her there for the afternoon. She came home and has been doing great.

I just moved here and had to find a new clinic after only going to the vet clinic which I worked at for 10+ years. I have to say every single staff member has been fantastic.

My experiences here thus far have been two separate very stressful situations for me.

I found that the Receptionists have been very helpful, welcoming, and empathetic to myself and my pets situations.

The vet tech which helped my dog and offered fantastic advice with excellent bedside manner. My dog usually hates the vet clinic and by the time we left our tech had managed to not only calm my senior dog but genuinely seemed become friends with him.

Dr George is great. She gave advice for our dog's particular situation with a tempered balance of comfort/hope and reality. I know this is not easy for anyone to do and she executed flawlessly. She also handled another difficult situation with our cat. He was having congestive heart failure and was on his last leg. We called several vet clinics and they were trying to get us to come in late in the day or the next day. Dr George moved her schedule around, likely cutting into her own personal time, to make sure our cat who she had never seen before did not needlessly suffer.

After working at and using the same vet clinic for over 10 years I have found this clinic to be exceptional.
