Ever since we moved to Fountain Hills in 2017, we have taken our cat, Mia, to El Dorado for all of her needs. The first time, we saw Dr. Bashaw. We were so pleased with her caring, professionalism and honesty that we decided we wanted to see only her for Mia’s care. But Mia was sick sometimes when Dr. Bashaw was unavailable, so we saw Dr. Marshall, and we were not disappointed…She was also excellent, and our dear Mia was well taken care of. Last summer, when again unpredicted sickness hit our Mia, we saw Dr. Mattick…Mia was getting older and weaker…In all these years, none of these doctors pushed us to do unnecessary labs or treatments, but they always educated us and prepared us for what would need to be done and what would be best. At the very last appointment, we accompanied Mia with broken hearts…we knew we might have to say goodbye. Dr. Mattick was there…I cannot explain the way he took care of Mia and us. Dr. Mattick was extremely caring: the way he talked to us while he took the time to explain that now was the time for our dear Mia to take her last breath. He was not in any rush. I am forever grateful. And last but not least, the staff of El Dorado was always prompt and always found a way to help us when needed. Mia was a good cat, and she lived many good years because of the good care we received from El Dorado.

Hospitals dont turn you down when you need them most. Just moved to the area and my best friend in the world Luke the boxer was not doing well. At 4:21PM on Sat Augest 3rd we pulled up to El Dorado in a panic. We walked in and were asked if i had an appointment. We did not. Obivously we were both distressed. The next vet that was open was open is a 25min drive with no traffic. Regardless of our situation and the fact there was no one else in there i was turned away with ZERO concern or compassion. Makes me sick to my stomach to be treated like that.

I am a loan officer and deal with people all day that don't match the ideal borrower catagory. Needless to say i love what i do and generaly care about doing good, helping people and if we cant do business i help eduacate/ inform on what their options are.

Not only will i never do business with this clinic, i will make a point to share my experience with dog owners in the area.

The business model is to exploit older pet owners and their money focusing on high dollar reacurring care.

I've got to share...My son asked me to watch his dog for 2 weeks. He chewed up a toy and half of it went missing. I called Dr. Bashaw and she advised me to bring him in right away.. They took him immediately to the back room and 10 minutes later everyone, including my sons dog came out with happy faces. Thank you Dr. Bashaw for saving my son's dog and my relationship with my son!

We are so lucky to have a vet so close to us and what a loving, supportive team. All the staff is professional and empathetic. We've had several pet emergencies this year and each time, they have seen us the same day. Dr. Wallitsch always takes her time with us and listens to our concerns.

All the staff there clearly love animals and they interact so lovingly with our pets. They always tell us how sweet they are after their visits. It really makes us feel like they're in good hands. We would recommend this clinic to anyone in Fountain Hills. They treat our pets like they are their own and it is really good to know that if another emergency comes up, we can depend on them.

Thank you to Dr. Wallitsch for helping us with Sophie today. We really appreciate everyone there and their had work.

My dog is super nervous at the vet. Emily held him and calmed him immediately while Dr. Bashaw examined him. They were thorough and explained the pros and cons of everything. We have a Plan A and a Plan B. I feel confident in Sammy's treatment plans. The staff at the front desk were also friendly and efficient.

Dr. Marshall and the entire staff are hero's to my family. I called them in an emergency situation in a hysterical panic thinking my dog was dying in my arms. Kelsey did such an amazing job keeping me calm while we rushed him there as fast as we could. He was bit by a rattlesnake not once, but twice. He is smiling and walking with all four limbs today because of their quick action and in depth knowledge. We are now happy to call El Dorado our main veterinarians.

I found Dr. Bashaw at El Dorado Animal Hospital three years ago. She is fantastic. The previous vet had misdiagnosed both my dogs multiple times and had them on unnecessary antibiotics and other meds. When Cupcake came to El Dorado, she was losing her hair along with some other unpleasant symptoms. Dr. Bashaw diagnosed her with Cushing's Disease and has since managed it amazingly well. Cupcake was soon feeling much better and regrew her beautiful coat. When she suffered a nasty dog bite recently at daycare, everyone in the office was very empathetic even though they see injuries all the time. Dr. Bashaw also does a great job with my other poodle, Chloe, administering stem cell therapy. I can't say enough how much I appreciate Dr. Bashaw, her techs Lacy, Kelsey, Cassandra and Alyssa at the front desk.
