I have been bringing my Yorkie to Elk Grove Pet Clinic for a few years now and I cannot say enough positive words about them. I recently brought her in for a routine check up and dental cleaning and bloodwork revealed that she had kidney failure. She was having a really rough time, and we were not sure that things were going to be able to be turned around or that she was going to get better. Dr Leo developed a plan that involved medications, fluids, diet, etc and I am happy to say she is doing so much better. Everyone I have dealt with every time I have gone in for an appointment has been friendly, empathetic and proficient. It is clear that the staff that work here are pet-people and they genuinely care about you and your pet. I noted the names of the staff members I’ve communicated and just wanted to thank you all for everything you do. You are all some of the most compassionate and attentive people I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with, from those in Reception, Heather, Sabrina, Kimberly and Colleen, to Technicians, Olivia and Sam, to Dr Leo. Specifically, Olivia, has gone so above and beyond to accommodate me repeatedly around scheduling and other needs. Even under what can be stressful vet visits, my dog loves her and wags her tail when she sees her. Dr Leo has really helped turn around a diagnosis that could have gone in a completely different direction, had it not been for his caring, knowledge and experience. I cannot thank them enough. Everyone takes the time to listen and understand and has your pet’s best interest in mind. They provide the best care that I’ve seen, and you can trust that your pet is in good hands here.

We love Dr. Leo and he did a fantastic job on removing a round disk from my dogs stomach! I used your Text box several times asking questions and Olivia was absolute lifeline which was very comforting to us and got us through the days after surgery. Very helpful staff. We switched after our vet retired and took our two cats here. One gets very anxious so they were able to give him some gas to calm his nerves and a full exam that revealed an issue with his teeth that wouldn’t have been discovered if he hadn’t been fully sedated. Dr Leo took time to explain everything and learn about both pets. Lent us a carrier when we had to bring our cats back at the same time after scheduling staggered appointments. Front desk team very friendly and helpful. A little on the pricey side but worth it.

Brought my cat in to be put down the other day. The entire staff and Doctor was so kind and professional during this difficult time. They made the process so simple and painless. I was able to be with her when the shot went into affect. They even gave us a nice cardboard coffin to bury her in. Thank you for your genuine love. Margarita appreciates everyone who assisted ♥️♥️
