Mi perrito Niko, tenia convulsiones y problemas para respirar. Tenia miedo de llevarlo al hospital porque sabía que el está grave por que se nos ponía grave en casa. Lamentablemente mi perrito tenia su corazón se agitaba y se desmayada. Hoy tuvimos que decirle adiós pero sabemos que era lo mejor para el, por estaba sufriendo. Te amamos Niko. Te vamos a extrañar. Adiós mi perrito mi amigo fiel. Gracias por tu amor sinceramente tu papá te extraña. ELMO My puppy Niko had seizures and trouble breathing. He was afraid to take him to the hospital because he knew he was serious because he would get serious at home. Unfortunately my puppy had his heart fluttering and passed out. Today we had to say goodbye but we know it was the best for him, he was suffering for him. We love you Nico. We will miss you. Goodbye my puppy my faithful friend. Thank you for your love sincerely your dad misses you. ELMO ❤️ 😘 💕 ♥️

Oh my gosh! I just opened up my emails and I saw this message about Elk Grove emergency vet services. This is the hospital that saved my dog’s life. About a year ago , due to the incompetence of another veterinary clinic, my dog was dying from a twisted stomach. We raced to Elk Grove Village ER and was met by the warm and competent staff there. They jumped into action immediately. Dr. Miller( our hero) got right to work saving my dog’s life. And this was all happening at about midnight in a Saturday night. This is the best emergency vet hospital there is. Everyone and I mean everyone on that staff was warm, caring, competent , and wonderful to work with. Although the experience at times was heartbreaking, my dog was in the best place he could be. Tucker is living a happy , goofy, fun filled life. Thanks to you. Again thank you so much from the bottom of my ❤️ heart

When my dog stopped walking and began screaming in pain I immediately called the clinic; they said they could see my dachshund right away. The woman who answered my call was very kind and got us checked on over the phone to expedite the appointment. The vet and the technician were so warm and provided us with a lot of helpful information on how to take care of the little man. They said to call them anytime with questions, which was a big comfort because I felt very unsure and unresolved after my previous visit somewhere else. Had a great experience here given the circumstances. Trust your animals to them, they have hearts of gold.

I can't thank the team at Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty & Emergency enough. I called on a Sunday morning after seeing something alarming with my dog. Roza at the front desk was calm and reassuring the entire time. She said to bring in him in right away and we were checked in and speaking with a nurse immediately. Adrienne, our nurse, explained everything in detail to me. The entire team was very kind, caring, and loving towards my dog, Gordon. Adrienne even brought a bed in so Gordon could be comfortable while we waited for his test results. Dr. Ashley Covington came in to speak with me directly and reviewed Gordon's imaging and explained his plan of care. There was total transparency with pricing the entire time, too. Obviously no pet owner wants to need emergency services for their furry family member but if the need arises I absolutely recommend Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty & Emergency. Staff even followed up with us, and when I was unsure about his symptoms after his visit, they took the time again to check with the vet and provide me options. Happy to report Gordon is on the mend and feeling much better. Thank you!

My 13 year old dog was experiencing the worst symptoms of late stage heart failure. It’s never easy to come to terms with the end of life for any pet. We came quite early on a Sunday morning because of his inability to breathe well and coughing up significant amounts of blood. The team was so beyond compassionate during the most difficult time for me and my family. They made us and Teddy as comfortable as possible for the last moments of his life. I cannot thank the staff enough for their above and beyond care for us. We even got a sympathy card in the mail. Thank you for being so kind. It means a lot and Teddy thanks you from heaven.

My elderly cat became ill on December 8 and I quickly brought her in to be seen at Elk Grove VSE, never imagining that I’d be bringing her back that same night to be euthanized. Dr Miller and his staff helped make a really heartbreaking night just a little more bearable. They were kind, compassionate, patient, and accommodating. They allowed my family—all ten of us—to crowd into the little room to say our goodbyes to our sweet Nina. When I asked, they gave me a clipping of her fur and a paw print at no extra cost. And as we were doing a home burial, they even put her little body in a really nice, dignified box for us, which we appreciated so much.
Thank you again for bringing me and my family (and Nina) comfort that night and making the experience as smooth as possible. I’m truly grateful!

I took my dog in because she was having multiple seizures in a single day. We were taken in right away and she was checked out. We expressed our concerns in regards to her never having to be in a cage and how she gets seizures under stressful and anxious situations. Pit is so amazing! He never put her in a cage when she was taken to the back room he carried her around. He created such a safe environment for her. This is the first time that she’s been this comfortable with any doctor/practitioner! The doctor was able to create a well thought out plan for her that’s been working so far. Thank you guys for your kindness, patience, and understanding!

The staff who work here are angels on this planet. I cannot express how deeply I appreciate them. I have brought numerous animals (Patches, Maia, Bianca, Mildred, Athena to name a few) here in times of crisis and they always treat us so well and with such compassion. When tough decisions need to be made, they give grace and options. They help stabilize not only my dear pets, but also me and my family when we are emotional and not sure what to do.

I full heartedly recommend this facility and these wonderful amazing people. There is no one I trust more in an emergency.
