I recently visited ER Katy with my daughter, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We just had wonderful experience at this ER. From the moment we checked in with Lucas he was very informative about the processes and went over all options due to us being self pay. Rachel was our nurse and she was so sweet and friendly especially since we were there with my young son. She was great with him. We saw Dr. O’Conner. He has a great bedside manner and listened to all of our concerns as well as gave his professional feedback. It was great experience for a very scary, hectic day! From the waiting room to the patient rooms the who place was also very clean and well put together. I would definitely recommend this facility and its wonderful staff!

Do not go here!!! The problem is I kept telling the young lady at the window that I had a primary and secondary and informed her what plan they were WHICH were the same with same but primary through my job and secondary through husband’s job. She asked for my secondary plan card and I stressed that the primary card is needed to make a copy as well. She said they have seen my card but not a lot and made a copy. I then, as filling out registration information, asked her about the fees that were rated from high to low and she then asked to show her what I was speaking of.. showed her and she then says it’s $150 coinsurance amount... she was asked if she verified the primary and then did a coordination of benefits and she was typing on her cell phone to her supervisor and then said how she was new and said her supervisor said it was $150.. I then asked again about coordination of benefits and she quickly said “the primary was verified”. Which I knew she lied and I calmly addressed this issue with her and said “ how much were u expecting to pay?” I said not $150. I called a case manager who deals with insurance who said “leave” And agreed that there should be a coordination of benefits. For ANYONE who may have two insurance plans with one this ER is not as familiar with but are in network please don’t accept these fees ESPECIALLY when they have not verified. I do not appreciate being lied to and then when I said if I pay this and come to find out I shouldn’t have we you all reimburse & and she says MOST DEFINITELY..please don’t waist your time

We took our 5 YO son to Katy ER yesterday after he split his head open on our pool. All the staff there was so helpful, gave us reassurance he was just fine, and took the best care of my baby! The nurses and Dr were amazing and so patient with our son! I sure hope we never have to take either of our kids back, but in the event of an emergency again, Katy ER has our business for sure! Thank you again, Katy ER staff!!

I have seen alot of the same reviews about their billing being the problem. (The place is nice. I didn't wait. Staff was fine) I was charged $350 just to be seen then sent a bill for $900+ more (with insurance) for a quick 15 minute test which is absurd. They sent me to see an internist for my issues, get seen & medications necessary and sadly she was the same just saw me to run unnecessary tests, collect my copay and bill my insurance and charge me. Unfortunately I didn't know any better until I got a second opinion who said what I'm being charged and tests run were absolutely ridiculous and unnecessary. I am now having to fight all these charges. It's down right criminal to pray on people who need care to overcharge them and their insurance.
