We honestly love Dr. Young. I was really nervous when we moved up here from Tontitown (where I grew up) because we'd used Dr. Lunsford since I was a kid. But my husband got a job here in Rogers several years ago, and it was such a long drive to them that it just wasn't practical. After doing a bunch of research, Faithful Friends seemed like our best option. I scheduled our first dog, Benedict, with whoever was available and it was Dr. Young. She's now our go-to person for all three of our fur-babies and I trust her thoughts and expertise explicitly. She's always gentle and kind, but also honest and forthcoming. She takes the time to talk to us, go over our concerns, and educate us on best practices... She's just genuinely just a wonderful human being with such an incredible heart for what she does. I feel really lucky that we've been able to have her as our vet.
I will say to do your research on who you use- We did have to visit with another vet on site because Dr. Young was unavailable when we adopted our Husky a couple of years ago. This particular vet kept talking to us about breeding her throughout the visit because she's so pretty- which, like, she is and she would have had gorgeous puppies- but it just felt a bit backwards from what Dr. Young and my parents vet had always taught us, and we had already mentioned to this vet that we wanted to spay her. It honestly just didn't sit right with me after- and of course my partner and I talked about it and we decided that if Dr. Young was unavailable we'd just wait. That's been the only negative experience we've had with Faithful Friends though.
I genuinely can't recommend Dr. Young enough. If you're in this area and looking for someone to take care of your pet, she's an incredible option.
Also, their staff is always so incredible- the techs are absolutely fabulous and I haven't ever had a negative experience with any of them. Their front desk staff has always been kind over the phone and in person (I MIGHT have been a helicopter parent with our first dog and our Husky was a menace and ate everything for the first 2 years of her life so I called A LOT with concerns and embarrassing questions).
