Updated 10/1/2024: After they sold out to the new Vet(s) and hired all new staff, THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS GONE DOWNHILL. My prescription was not filled after EIGHT attempts, despite my numerous calls over 2 weeks while being told that it was filled. I called in this morning and attempted to speak with LEXI, who was very rude, raised her voice and continued to cut me off while I asked to be placed on hold so she should confirm that my dog's prescription had actually been approved/filled. My phone call lasted than 60 seconds where she told me my prescription was approved on 9/29/2024, then HUNG UP ON ME when I asked her to put me on hold so I could wait for confirmation that it was actually approved. I voiced that I was not happy with being spoken to in the manner which she spoke to me. I asked for her name and she refused to give it to me, and hung up while I was asking a question. I called right back and she raised her voice without even greeting me when she answered the call "I'm on the phone with AlliVet right now, you can wait on hold", and immediately put me on hold (which is what I was asking for the first phone call when she hung up on me). I waited less than 10 minutes before she got back on the phone with me. She confirmed that my prescription HAD NOT been approved (which I already knew) and that she completed the approval while I was on hold. She then THREATENED to withhold my dog's prescription next month without scheduling an appointment to see the Vet. I told her I would not be back after the way she treated me this morning. Her response...? "Sounds good to us!" and hung up on me again.

Maybe LEXI was having a bad morning, but that's no excuse to treat a long time patient like garbage FOR YOUR OFFICE'S MISTAKES. Don't waste your money going to this office. They are rude, lie or don't know what they're talking about with regards to prescriptions being approved. It took me 2 weeks to get my prescription refill approved. That is not acceptable when it comes to meds that my dog needs to survive every day.

Old review: I've been bringing my boy to this Vet clinic for 8+ years. The Vets and staff are wonderful, friendly, and accommodating when it comes to my super anxious dog. He's not keen on going new places or meeting new people, especially men, but they do their best here to go slow, be patient, and make my boy feel at home (you can see how nervous he is in the exam room pic). The prices are great and they can usually get us in within a day or 2, instead of weeks at most other nearby clinics. We drive 20+ miles just to continue our Veterinary care with this office. I recommend them to all my friends and family.

Our last visit was on 10/17/23. They had this large Halloween photo backdrop in the lobby for clients to take photos of their pets with. Cute idea and got a fabulous pic!

I’ve been taking my dog to FFVH for over 10 years. It once was a pretty decent hospital. I didn’t have any real complaints. In the last year, the service has been really bad. I’ve had to call for days at a time to get an appointment for my dog to be seen because the call would literally go to voicemail. That has happened to me 3x now. I’ve had to reach out them when I was promised the vet would get back to me and he never did. I started to feel like my dog’s health and safety wasn’t important. I got tired of the inconsistency so last week I found another vet for my dog. They have some internal things to work out, so I wouldn’t recommend them.

I would give zero stars if I could! I have bee going to this vet for 15 years and I can't deal with them any more. The Vets themselves are amazing and I love them but current staff (and past year) is HORRENDOUS!!! They are extremely rude, lazy, and incompetent. They have ruined a lovely 15 year relationship. It's so bad I am now going to a different vet. I hope they wise up and fire everyone!

I have been going to this vet for almost ten years, unfortunately new doctors have taken over and changed their policies. I have been refused my dogs required medications unless I come in and pay for an exam. The new receptionist informed me I am now required to come in yearly to get prescription approvals, when I asked when my last exam was she stated it was 11/15/2023. I asked if I could get an approval for allergy medication since my dog has severe allergies, is low on pills and the one year mark has not passed yet. She refused. I then asked for an appointment since it is now required even though the year has not passed and they have no availability until 11/12. I then asked if she could ask the doctor for approval since again, I have not passed my one year requirement and I have two days of pills left, however, conveniently the doctor will not be in until Friday which would leave my dog without her medication and cause a severe outbreak due to her severe allergies. I will be going to a new vet unfortunately, the new staff are not very sympathetic or helpful.

I had been been coming to Family Friends Veterinary Hospital for over 10 years. The cost of an exam & general service costs were affordable . I knew & trusted the Veterinarians Dr. Sidhu & Dr. Brar. These Veterinarians & staff are gone. The business was sold within the past year & everything has gone downhill. When I call , the calls go straight to a recorded message asking that I leave a voicemail. I was forced to take my dog somewhere else & when they tried to call Family Friends to retrieve my pets veterinary records, they also could not get through & voicemail messages were not returned. Luckily, I brought my dogs file with me to the appointment. Something is very wrong with this Veterinary Hospital & it has caused a continuing hardship for me & my dogs not to mention the local community. The unprofessionalism is shocking to me. They do not answer the phone & do not return voicemail calls from other Veterinary Hospitals who need information. My neighbors & other dog owners I know have had the same complaints. No one knows what has happened & why they are unable to be reached. This Veterinary Hospital used to be reliable but not anymore . In fact, it is so poorly managed, Every time I. drive by, they are closed . I would highly advise going somewhere else.

I just wanna say in 2017 the day of eclipse in August.. my little dog ruby passed away in my arms so me and my sister took her here and we was sobbing and we didn’t have money in that time, they were helping us, took our dog in and we want her cremated. That they will help us and pay when she is finished cremated. They are really caring and willing to help people and I wanna say thank you ?

I really didn’t like this vet. They gave me a medicine for aggression that can calm my dog down. But they gave too much and in an container was expired date. They didn’t give me just the amount I need for the next visit. And I told them my dog keeps throwing up they said is normal. But one day my dog was throwing more than once in a day I took her to another vet as emergency they figured out my dog was allergic to chicken.
