My Pretty little girl Mabel had a bad allergic reaction to a bite inside her Mouth! Swollen eyes, lips, and itching. I was super worried. I walked in and was warmly greeted. Very friendly staff. Michelle, or Dr. Ward was really kind and you could tell really loved dogs. Very clear in what was wrong and to the point in solution. Obviously no one likes going to vet, but I am really grateful to have had something like this here so close by. No joke I was trying to leave and Mabel was trying to go back in. Anyway thanks again Family Pet Urgent Care!

Compassionate, competent, professional care.
My dog is extremely reactive. I brought her in for an eye infection.
Dr Ward was absolutely brilliant with her. The only veterinarian that understood my dog’s personality and treated her accordingly. The eye infection cleared in a few days. I’d give 10 stars if I could.

If I could leave zero stars I would! After sitting in a room for 1 1/2hrs my best friend passed away on the floor! Doctor Ward said my best friend needed back surgery and that's why his gait was off. He ended up passing 15min after her diagnosis. Her reply was "He must've had underlying issues!" She chastised my daughter for asking her staff questions and for requesting a bowl of water, this was after being there for an hour. She insinuated that my daughter was lying when my daughter said we were referred there by Pend Orielle Veterinary because they had a Ultrasound. Doctor ward said they didn't and Pend Orielle Vet wouldnt say that, and that they send pets to Pend Orielle Vet for ultrasounds. Family Pet Urgent care even advertises on their website that they have a Ultrasound. Doctor Wards bedside manner is atrocious and the front desk staff is not considerate at all. However the Vet Techs were very nice and compassionate. Doctor Ward talked down to us the whole time we were there. We wouldn't have taken my best friend there if Pend Orielle Veterinary could've fit us in. That is our family Vet, and will continue to be. I will never take any of our companions to Family pet urgent care again! My best friend and shadow everyday for the past 9yrs is gone because of Dr. Wards incompetence. She is no doctor of Veterinary medicine!

They saved my dog’s life. I thought she had cancer of the nose (mucus and bleeding and huffing and puffing, extreme lethargy), went to 4 different vets when I only needed to go to Family Pet.
Two other vets gave my dog oral antibiotics to no avail. So they said she probably had cancer.
Family Pet gave my dog a shot of different antibiotics to the neck. That’s all she needed. She was her normal self again within a day

I seriously couldn't have asked for better care for our 3 yr old GS. Not 1 ear infection but both. He was in extreme pain and the team worked so hard with him but eventually he had to have a nap for them to preform their magic. They did and today the after he is back to himself. Highly recommend this wonderful place ?

I am so thankful that we have this service in our community now! Previously had to go to CDA which made for a long and scary drive when my dog needed urgent care. I was so happy with the experience we had taking our dog here today. Highly recommend.
