Dr. Finan and all the team members who help us are all caring, knowledgeable and good communicators. I always feel listened to. My dog always gets careful attention and treatment. The team also does a great job of scheduling appointments and giving cost estimates for each service. I'm happy to be at such a well run practice. I have no worries when my dog needs care and that peace of mind is priceless.

I cannot recommend this veterinary clinic highly enough! From the moment we walked through the doors, every single staff member went above and beyond to make both my pets and me feel welcomed and comfortable. The front desk team was incredibly attentive, warm, and organized.

The veterinary technicians were absolutely wonderful, showing such genuine care and gentleness with both my anxious cat and energetic dog. Their expertise in handling different animal personalities was truly impressive. The doctor and her entire medical team were exceptional - not just knowledgeable, but passionate about animal care. They took all the time needed to thoroughly explain every aspect of the examination and treatment options, patiently answering all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.

What really sets this clinic apart is their attention to detail and the little touches that make such a difference. They had special treats for both cats and dogs (which my pets absolutely loved!), and the exam rooms were spotlessly clean and designed to keep pets calm and comfortable. It's clear that everyone here genuinely loves animals and is dedicated to providing the highest quality care.

Finding a vet you can trust with your beloved pets is priceless, and this clinic has earned my complete confidence. They've found the perfect balance of professional expertise and compassionate care. Without a doubt, this is the best veterinary clinic in the area - my pets and I won't go anywhere else!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I learned from a friend that April Finan is a greyhound veterinarian. I had been at VCA for many years for 2 greyhounds and 2 cats. Dr. Finan and staff are excellent! I had an introductory visit and decided to schedule a dental for my greyhound with Dr. Finan. Staff are so polite and helpful and Dr. Finan is so knowledgeable and a nice human being. The dental went great, this is the first time one of my greyhounds was not over medicated for a procedure and he did so well. Angie the vet tech was lovely. Love this practice. My cat is transferring here too.
I'd like to add that we now bring our cat to Dr. Leasure. She and her team are great! My cat wasn't even scared or anxious. She did a thorough exam and now my cat is being appropriately treated for her joint pain as well. 100% recommend!

I only went to Finan once, to see Dr. Leasure, who we had seen at another practice (love her!), because I couldn't get in to my regular vet. They were great with my dog. Several months later, my dog very unexpectedly passed. The office randomly called me with a reminder about his yearly appointment and I told them he had died. A week or two later, I received a card in the mail signed by all if their staff. I couldn't believe it. My regular vet didn't even do that when I had called them especially to inform them of what happened. Finan is wonderful, caring, and went above and beyond. Thank you for caring for my baby!

When we moved to the area I was nervous about finding a new vet as we loved our previous vet. However, Finan couldn’t have impressed me more! The whole staff is beyond friendly and nice, their new offices are beautiful and practical (separate dog and cat entrances), and the care is exceptional. My two dogs have never liked the vet and when I say they WAG their tails when we pull up to the vet, it’s wild. If I could give this place a 1000 star review I would!!

We've switch vets only twice in the past 35 years with our sweet labs, while living in Glen Ellyn and now Wheaton. We've been so disappointed in the "factory like" operations our past vets have become. What a pleasure to find Finan Animal Hospital! From the front desk staff to our first visit with Dr. Leasure... JUST what we were looking for! THANK YOU ! (Finley - white lab who is usually shaking like a leaf! - totally chill with the zen music playing and sweet soft spoken staff having total respect for my pups and what fear they may have coming to their new doctor). Thank you again! PS... we've just moved our kitty care to Dr. Leasure/Finan as well. SO happy to be there with all of our fur babies now!
