Kind, affordable, and they let my cats stay together as they are accustomed to being so. They offer accommodations for both dogs and cats, including cats who need their distance from barking. While mine were fine being in the vicinity of the dogs, it was good to know the options. Also, they have two adorable (sassy) office cats of their own. The people who cared for my cats had nice things to say about them, which was good since they are good (but still feline) cats. I appreciated their care for my animals!

I have been taking my dogs here for about 3 years now and every time has been pleasant, they have fixed 3 of my girls now with zero complications. They always due a thorough check on them. And have the best pricing! Thank you to everyone who works here!!!

My best friend passed away yesterday his name was Jett. This place is terrible in my opinion. After being confused by Google's phone hours, opens at 8 am and this veterinarians phone hours of operation 7 am & up all night with my dog who unfortunately bled out and passed away. As an educated professional, I can sense when someone wants to prejudge me as if I'd been up tweaking all night and came in with a dead dog. I was going to make these people my new veterinarian since my old vet went out of business in Walsenburg ( I had a future appointment coming up with these people for Jets shots next week) I drove forty-five minutes made it in 22 minutes only to be visually insulted, told over the phone on Bluetooth in my car, they couldn't tell me certain things about him due to possible legal liabilities ? this is the most unempathetic and terrible veterinarian that I have ever dealt with... I have raised several dogs and dealt with several veterinarians, one of them who is my mother's sister who is a registered vet tech in Denver... the staff and doctors have absolutely no clue and I was very flabbergasted at the way I was treated or there for lack of not treated how I should have been. At least offer to let a dog be froze at your facility for 48 hours to say the least... and that's what I did before my friend ended up paying my check after I gave him my card before I exploded at the staff. I would not ever recommend these people... I would drive 45 mi the other way to avoid this veterinarian at all cost. Very rude unempathetic and pre judgmental people... Thank you for the negative parvo test... I was as calm and collective as could be for being up all night with my dog dying in front of me and these people distanced themselves from me like I was going to be there next active shooter. You and your veterinarian clinic can go to hell and you need an overhaul on your doctors and staff. This is coming from a master's degree level educated teacher.... And by the way the next time someone asks you how much a autopsy is you don't tell them it's expensive that's not what I asked you I asked you the cost. Trust me I have the money to pay for one. Every single member of this facility in my opinion is in the wrong profession. Like they say with us teachers if you can't do it from your heart then get out of the profession. That's my recommendation to everyone at fishers peak veterinarian clinic. The next time somebody walks in with bloodied pants their hair buzzed and looks like they've been up all night and could possibly be a thug but isn't, don't prejudge. Your actions as well as all actions usually speak louder than words.

They are the best at fishers peak vet. They all show considerable passion for the animals they treat and my dog Jack gets so excited to go, not so excited when he gets there, but loves how he gets treated. Thank you guys for being here for us.

Saved my baby girls life! We owe them everything for treating our dog so good n making sure she didn't pass away. She is our family n we don't know what we would of done if would would of lost her! Thank you all so so so MUCH FISHER PEAK VET CLINIC!! But r u guys ok? I had been calling n calling lately to get my baby girl in this past week n the phone just rings n rings til it hangs up. I tried different days at different times. I probably should just go down there n see what's up. But anyway thanks again our Angels ?.We are forever Grateful ?.

We are camping at Trinidad Lake and our Chloe ate some meds, we called at 7:15 am and were told to come right in. They were able to treat her immediately. Wonderful vet and staff! We would definitely use them if we lived here. Trinidad is lucky to have such great services. Thank you Fisher’s Peak Clinic!!

I can't say enough GOOD things about this veterinary clinic. I honestly feel that my family and pets are spoiled here! We are never left without support and wonderful services for our 12, yes, TWELVE pets! On a few occasions, with that many pets, emergencies have occurred. Every single time our pets were prioritized. It goes without saying that this is rare in the world of veterinary medicine, especially being in a small town. I always say you can see where people's hearts lie by how they allocate their time, and Dr. Aaroe and staff never seem to lose their passion for their patients, as they are always near to help. Dr. Aaroe is a gem that deserves so much credit for his compassionate care! Dr. Aaroe is sincerely caring, compassionate, fair, and conscientious about all services he performs for pets. His staff is diligent and caring as well. Furthermore, what I appreciate most about Dr. Aaroe is his willingness to fully evaluate your pet's condition in a thorough manner. He is a man of few words, but that is only because he is listening and observing to make sure he considers all that could be going on with your pet. You won't find a more animal-focused veterinarian who puts the needs of his patients first and values the role the animal's owner plays in the animal's health and well-being. The clinic's prices for all services are beyond reasonable and Dr. Aaroe is very fair about the costs incurred per pet, making sure that extraneous services are not performed and that he is mindful about the client's budget. Dr. Aaroe is a practical person that doesn't overdo things, which to me, is a comfort in those moments when you have a sick pet and may not be thinking clearly about what the pet needs the most. He takes charge and gently makes his recommendations based on his extensive experience. In the past I have felt judgment from veterinary clinics and I hated feeling lectured by veterinary staff about an honest mistake I'd made. You will never get that here. Dr. Aaroe and his staff are all caring, practical people that know things happen. They are not there to shame, they are part of the solution and have a way of making pet moms and dads feel calm. I can't express my gratitude for this clinic enough, especially after saving the lives of several of my pets. Team Dr. Aaroe and Staff for life!
