I volunteer for Fixin Feral Felines. Jane has helped my community of Rochelle TNR, SPAY/NEUTER, and vet hundreds of cats and kittens. I fostered 2 sibling kittens a year ago who I ended up adopting. If not for Fixin Feral Felines I wouldn't have these 2 absolutely amazing cats, Salem and Orca. I can't thank her enough for the work and care she gives the cats in my community. Thanks Jane.

I was convinced by my friend to have my cat neutered at this establishment! After he informed me of their location and business I was still skeptical of the place but he insisted mainly because the people willing to transport my cat had already set up an appointment with Fixin' Feral Felines. I decided to go against my GUT feeling and let them take my cat to be fixed. When he came back the stitching looked awkward, slightly lobsided but I thought it was normal; as long as it was closed right? I was so wrong! I watched my cat closely for the following two weeks, by the 14th day the left side looked swollen and irritated, white stuff was encrusted atop the stitches. I had no clue on what to do besides using a warm compress to wear down some of the weird white stuff and just hope for the best.

Finally the two weeks were over though the swelling hadn't come down so I kept the cone on for an occasional two more days! Marking today as Sunday I took off the cone to let him eat, he then wandered over to sit down beside my dog on the bed. I was doing my own thing before he came over to sit on my desk, I decided to check the stitches and to my horror I found his incision had burst open! The skin around the flesh poking out was red and swollen. I was sitting there and wondering what could've possibly led to this once stitched incision bursting open after two weeks of close monitoring and healing. It couldn't possibly be my cat licking at it, that was out of the equation due to the cone around his head for two weeks straight!

Overall, my cat is going to be treated soon by a different clinic! Was my experience with Fixin' Feral Felines positive? Absolutely not! Do I recommend them? I don't know! But my experience deserves to be shared and known as this wasn't a positive nor a fun one for my cat!

Jane Kosek is an amazing asset to the communities around her! She brought trapped cats and kittens into the vet where I worked for veterinary care and spay/neuter. Years later, my family purchased a property that was overrun by a feral cat population, and she helped me trap, neuter, and adopt out several litters of kittens. I just can't say enough good things about her! She has a caring heart and works tirelessly to help abandoned/feral/homeless cats.

We are delighted with our new family member, Ruth. She was nearly feral, having been abandoned as a young cat. I'm very happy that I was able to meet her and get help making sure she was healthy and had all of her surgeries and shots. I could never have afforded it all on my own. Thank you for your good work!

I adopted two kittens rescued by Jane, who went out of her way to answer questions and provide support when one of them was later diagnosed with FIP. She works tirelessly--and often thanklessly and at great personal expense--to help hundreds of cats every year. And Jane always, always puts the welfare of the cats first.
