My 14 year old black lab needed an in home visit to put her to rest. I called his practice and left a message. Even though they were closed for the weekend Dr. Mike gave me a call back and took care of her with respect, grace, and professionalism. You can tell how much he cares about the health and well-being of an animal. Very affordable as well. I'll be taking any future animals of mine to him for care.

Thought my golden retriever was dying. She wouldn't eat or drink for days, was so lethargic and wasn't breathing well. Took my dog to Mike. My dog, Jojo, had a fever when we got there. Mike knew just what was wrong with my dog and sent me home home with the appropriate medications. Within a day or two Jojo was back to her normal self and is doing great. Great job, Mike. Thanks a bunch.

Your pets always let you know if it's safe. When at Fort Russel Vet, they have been at ease with each visit so far. I notice they do not over prescribe and are by far the most reasonably priced service available to our area. The doc has help several of my little buddy's get better over the years. I will always return to where my pets feel safe and get better care.

We have been going to Fort Russell for about 4 years now, and we have had nothing but great experiences. Our 1st time going was due to an emergency and with one of our dogs. The last 2 times have been for 2 of our cats. Our most recent visit for one of our cats, we were expecting to have to put her down, but that ended up not being the case. I can't thank them enough for all that they have done for our fur babies and our family. The prices are great, the exams are thorough, and they truly care about the animals that are brought in. Dr Mike is an old-school vet in my personal opinion.

Mike is the most personable vet I’ve ever met. His tech, Trevor, has always had our family’s back. We truly have not worked with another vet who treats our animals like family. We love fort Russell.
