I've gone to this office a long time

- I had a fungal infection under a nail for over a decade. The moment I brought it to Zehr, it was over. I have fully normal feet. I suffered. I saw over 4 doctors for it. It itched, it burned. No one could help me but Zehr. He made sure my liver enzymes could handle the medicine that kills fungal infections first. Then he gave me the medicine that I'm still grateful for. I've never gotten this problem back. I bleached my shoes in school to avoid it. I woke up with burning feet. I had to walk with bloody sores on my feet. I never take my normal feet for granted now. I owe every painless step to Zehr.

- At five I was diagnosed with psoriasis. I do not have psoriasis, I have Eczema (sorry if I misspelt it.)
Dr. Zehr: See how the rash is red and not white? It's Eczema. Mix lotion and this cream and it'll help.
And it did. My hands no longer crack and bleed. They don't hurt or burn. It's just better now thanks to Zehr. He's well informed and uses logic, reason, and experience to problem solve.

- I couldn't breathe last year and my blood pressure was high. I felt awful. I no longer wheeze and my blood pressure is pretty well normal. If I tell Zehr (or Mariah) I know I won't be in pain for long.

- My five year old daughter loves Mariah and thinks she's famous or something. She gets star struck from seeing her doctor. It brightens my day to see my daughter *happy* to see her doctor.

- Mariah Noticed I bounced my knee constantly. I always do, when I'm stressed or excited. I didn't tell her but she noticed because she cares about her work.

- My daughter has autism and tends to avoid routine. She hates wiping, we have to monitor her in the bathroom. They helped every obstacles associated. When I was worried she gave herself an infection, guidance. They supported our worried until my baby stopped struggling. I still make sure but she's pretty well over this now thanks to the help we received. Anytime my daughter expressed any concern, I told Mariah. She was checked for a uti weekly sometimes. They never judged. They never were rude. They checked and encouraged my girl to do what she needs alongside me. The hardest part was "ah ah, other way."

Wife who’s a very strong women cries every time she visits there she feels judged, bullied, and not heard.she arrived one time 5 mins late she explained the school drop off line was super long and it took her longer then expected to arrive there but she was checked in 10 mins late because there wasn’t a person at the front doesn’t just talking to the nurse (which one of them likes to constantly argue and make comments to my wife.) the doctor told her she needs to be on time the office rule is up to 15 mins late and she would have only been 5 had the girl not been talking to the nurse. My wife was embarrassed as she’s never late but when she’s had to sit out there for 25 mins before she didn’t say a word I find it unprofessional. My wife is to afraid to speak to the doctor about it in fear they’ll ban us from the last office in the area according patients. Our other doctor retired out of the blue and we’ve been struggling to find care for our family and this was the only office accepting our insurance and accepting new clients I’m over all not happy with what i see here and will just go without till iu health opens its intakes back up. (Update 4 months I there was a hills violation with provider M.M. Office refuses to speak to my wife about it or see her after she tried to make contact about it the email the way gave me for contact about experiences also didn’t respond looking into legal help about it. provider M.M. Also refused to see my child in Jan/ Feb cuz there was a concern for hand foot and mouth cuz she was “pregnant” if her pregnancy is affecting her being able to diagnose and do her job she shouldn’t be in office and should just take maternity the entirety of her pregnancy. So sick of the negligence and unprofessionalism of this office were switching back to IU southern. We will not return we’ll go to an er before we ever set foot in this office in our life. Will keep posted about the Med Mal legal advise we get about the Hippa violation

I used to think they were great, when I was pretty much a picture of health and had very minor health issues from time to time and had a handful of visits in 15 years, but when I encountered a severe, sudden health condition without a known cause and had several visits within a few weeks... I found that while they do well with caring for patients who have minor acute issues, when something more complex and severe arises, they are too overwhelmed to really look into it or even seem to care and pretty much blew me off and told me I was on my own until I could get into a rheumatologist in 10 months! I had even called the after-hours line once because I needed guidance on whether I should seek emergency care after blood tests resulted with a near critical value and was treated like a bother and simply told if I think I should go to er then go, so I sought emergency care.. then saw a note from the phone call that read, "patient actually went to emergency room for this." Luckily, I switched my primary care to another provider who spent a lot of time trying to help me figure out what exactly was triggering my symptoms and by the time I saw the rheumatologist, my symptoms had resolved. Only writing this review in hopes that maybe they will actually put more thought and care into the next person who comes along and they can be part of the team who helps someone find recovery from a life-altering condition or at least show that they care!
