If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Two weeks ago we unexpectedly had to put our sweet Timber boy down. He had a mass in his stomach; going into surgery we thought it was possibly something he had swallowed. This was late Friday, so they kept him out with him and loved on him until we came to say goodbye when they opened the next day. He was loved on like he should have been. This was our first time at this vet and their compassion for our family and Timber was heartfelt and appreciated. It was a very difficult time. Kim was amazing and even made paw prints and nose prints for us. Trina up front, I appreciated all your hugs. Diana thanks for also taking good care of our sweet boy.
When we are ready for another dog we will be back. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Thank you.

We have had a wonderful experience with Pam the vet and the staff . The Adoption process took a long time but it was well worth the wait. Our puppy has had some issues with blood work and liver stuff but they stepped up and did everything for our precious girl! All is great and we are very thankful for the team there and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Kim is the nicest lady. She goes so above and beyond for every fur baby that needs her! And Canine Castaways is a great rescue to support and adopt from. I should know, we've adopted our three 🐕🐩🐕🐾 dogs from them. Each one perfect in their little way and each one wouldn't be here without Castaways and Kim. Our most recent had his 2 little front leggies broken! 🥺 I can't wait to make the rest of his life the best he deserves!!! Support your rescues!!! ❣️

Canine Castaways Rescue is awesome! We got our pup from them, and our experience with them was nothing but great. You can tell they really care about animals. Our neighbor adopted from them as well. They have a great Facebook page, Instagram, and website where you can see available pups. I highly recommend them!

I called an emergency early in the morning. My animal had surgery at another vet and that vet gave her the wrong antibiotic. Without an antibiotic she will get septic. I received a text that they didn’t know why I needed an antibiotic and I explained. This was Friday. The surgical vet isn’t open until Monday. Sunday morning I text back. PLEASE see my pet. Her surgical sight has an odor now, please help save her life. Text back said “I’ll ask vet”. It has been 7 agonizing hours. These people are CRUEL. Could’ve saved my pets life by looking at her and given me antibiotics. If this were a person I would get a lawyer. Don’t advertise a 24/7 emergency vet when you intend on ignoring a simple case. This couldn’t have been easier. No words for such callous cruelty.

Everyone was so wonderful and so concerned that the pet you are choosing is going to a great forever home. There is a detailed application process, a home visit, and then a visit to Canine Castaways in Arcadia. The dogs we saw were all healthy and well cared for....and ADORABLE!! We are confident that we found our baby boy to complete our family.

This place went above and beyond when another vet really dropped the ball. I totally credit Dr.Pam for saving my dogs life. The entire staff is absolutely amazing!!
