I simply do not have enough words for the exceptional care that has been given to my pets, aka “problem children”.
They are well equipped to handle advanced diagnostics - two of my pets were seen with a dermatologist before being correctly diagnosed and treated here. In addition, they are well adept at complex dental procedures, which two of my five pets have undergone.
One cat was notoriously “spicy” at other hospitals and has never tried to bite or scratch anybody here. Every pet of mine has been approached differently to suit their needs and ensure their highest level of comfort.
I could list so many reasons why I love this hospital! I cannot thank the team enough for caring for my babies!

What a wonderful practice! We recently had the unfortunate experience of our elderly dog becoming ill while being here on vacation. We are a very long way from home and therefore far away from our own veterinarian who we know and trust. We settled on this office due to good on-line reviews. Every single person we encountered was helpful, sympathetic and kind. Our dog was diagnosed with an incurable condition and was deteriorating quickly. With the help of Dr. Volkers and numerous staff members, we were able to let our boy go. This was unforeseen and unexpected, so we were just shocked and heartbroken. We were afforded as much time as we needed to make our decisions and to say our goodbyes. This was by far the most difficult thing we've ever had to do and we feel so fortunate to have landed here. A special thank you to Jessica for being so supportive and for every kind word. For those who love their fur babies, I highly recommend Furry Friends.

Amazing experience! I was so worried about my dog's foot, it was swollen and looked like he had dried blood in between his toes and a open wound on the side. I couldn't figure out what happened, after going to another after care facility and having a not so pleasant experience, I called Furry Friends Vet and they got me in right away and met me at the door with a hug. I immediately felt relief. Ozzy, my fur baby loved the staff and I came out with more knowledge about allergies and that fire ants most likely got him, and the cost was so affordable. I just cannot thank them enough! My Ozzy is already seeing improvement! Thank you again Dr. Maedel and her staff!

Brought my 2 babies snickers and duck in today, had an amazing experience!! I recently moved here from Ohio and I was so worried about finding a new vet here and I'm so glad I found Furry Friends. I switched to Furry Friends a few months ago due to the office I used becoming corporate and CRAZY expensive. This office was recommended to me by a friend. The staff here is particularly exceptional. It feels like they truly care about you. They are extremely responsive to phone calls/inquiries, and able to get appointments very quickly, sometimes same day. My senior cat was recently diagnosed with CKD/pyelonephritis by Dr. Maedel. She was super informative about all my options and how to help my sweet baby. She took her time explaining things, which I greatly appreciated. It never felt rushed. Recently, my kitty had declined rapidly, and I brought him in to see Dr. Volkers. She also took her time explaining things and was very kind to me during a very difficult time. She was able to help me make the best decision for my kitty. She was so intuitive and showed great attention to the points I brought up. I had the appointment for euthanasia this morning with her and Nikki. They were both so amazing and comforting, which I greatly appreciate. I would like to give Nikki and Dr. Volkers a special shoutout for their professionalism, kindness, and dedication. I’ve been through losing other animals but this was particularly difficult for me. Lastly, I want to give a shoutout to the office manager, Nicole. Every time I have called or been inside, she has been there. She is extremely kind and compassionate. She has answered all my questions and just been there as a supporter. Nicole is the first face you see when you go inside, and she’s always very kind and intuitive. She was particularly amazing today with the euthanasia of my sweet boy. I appreciate her greatly ?

Absolutely wonderful! This has been my sweet cat’s vet for 3years and I would never go anywhere else.The staff is beyond caring and has some how found the secret to keeping my cat calm & composed when treating him. My Sammy just had surgery that I was very nervous about. However, I received several calls during the surgery with updates and couldn’t be more grateful to hear that he was doing good. Once again the staff and the care Furry Friends provides is like no other! ? Thank you again from Sammy and I
