They allowed my cat to die. Called to see if I could bring her in Friday morning. I was told there was no availability. I explained the urgency of her being seen but was rejected. After calling every vet I could to try and get her seen from Walnut Ridge to Searcy, I was unsuccessful. So called Gateway back to beg to get her in at 1:00. I was told earliest she could be seen was Sept. 7 and all they could tell me to do was keep her ears dry. Couldn’t give her meds without being seen. I asked to be put on the cancellation list and asked “what do I do?” I was told to go to Jonesboro to the emergency animal clinic. I don’t have those kinds of funds. When I explained that, they then said I could bring her in but I’d have to pay about $200. In other words, we can somehow fit you in, but we need more money to do it. Well, she died. Last night. In my arms. She screamed twice after I heard the death rattle that told me she was on her way out. Then she passed. I cannot believe that my sweet baby is gone. And I’ll never forget the experience of watching her die……and there was NOTHING I could do to stop it. The first picture is of her about 5 minutes before the screams. Everyone is always so nice! The prices are very reasonable. My dog gets so excited to run in and see everyone. There is never a long wait. Bentley is a very good judge of character and he thinks everyone there is great.
