Gateway pet guardians is amazing. They truly care about animals and do everything they can to help them. I adopted two kittens from them in March 2024. Sadly they were a bit sick. Dr. Sarah (who is amazing btw) told me to bring them in and they have been taking good care of them so they can be healthy again. I really appreciate how much they’ve helped me and also how much they’ve helped the community. I APPRECIATE AND LOVE EVERYONE WHO WORKS AND VOLUNTEERS!! Thank you for taking care of so many animals and helping them to find homes. You are such an asset to the community

I recently Adopted Timo from Gateway pet guardians. They were very transparent about everything, which added ease to my mind as a first time adopter. He had giardia (a temporary stomach issue resolved in about 10 days with meds) the day we went to get him and they let us know all the details and info about that knowing we had a little one with us, extremely thoughtful. Since we brought him home he has been such an amazing dog. So gentle with my 1 year old, great with my cat and just overall perfect. He had some separation anxiety that was quickly fixed with treats and a kong toy. We have already been saying if we were to adopt again 10/10 going back here! Timo is now Jax and he has been doing so good with us.

Today I visited the shelter to purchase wet cat food for my boys Jonah & Figaro and to meet sweet Alias to see if she would work as a foster. So far so good, she shows no interest in the cats and is sweet and calm. Not a fan of her name so I'm calling her Ally.

Such a nice organization with wonderful staff. I was there today to adopt Sampson. I like that they keep as many animals in foster homes as possible. They have shot clinics, grooming and a little store with heavily discounted pet items. You can also take your dog there for grooming.

When we went to Gateway Pet Guardians, we found our forever dog. Her name was Stormie But we changed it to Storie. We’ve had her for 2 1/2 months, we got lucky because she was potty trained already and she is only two years old. She now sits at the door and waits to go outside. She loves bananas and sweet potatoes for treats. And loves to play with our cat baby. Really grateful that we have such a sweet, loving dog.

I take all my pets here. Their kind, polite, & gentle with my pets. My new puppy wouldn't let petsmart groom him & were so unkind to him that when I picked him up he was shaking & scared to death. Told them he won't be back there &, I was pissed. Got home called Gateway few days got him in. Picked him up & he was happy & felt like I got a new puppy. Their my #1 & only place.
