I had an amazing experience here getting our Shepherd Husky mix neutered. One of his testicles was not descended and instead in the groin area. It was a little more complicated than a standard neuter but it was no problem for this practice. Due to the breed, size, and hyper personality our dog, working with him can be a little bit of a challenge. However I could tell how passionate every staff member is here about animals. Their price was very fair and actually less than HALF of what I was quoted at another animal hospital in town for the exact same procedure on the same dog.
The front desk employees & vet techs are all knowledgeable and professional. They always answer the phone and are willing to go the extra mile. The vet who did the surgery was amazing as well. He called as soon as it was over and addressed any and all concerns. He’s very professional, knowledgeable, passionate about his job, and considerate. All staff members here truly care about the animals and are very respectful.
Having been to many vet offices, I’m highly impressed with the ethics, compassionate care, quality, and price of this animal hospital. I highly recommend their services!

The office staff were very friendly and efficient. The vet (Dr. Nesbly? Not sure spelling, sorry?). we saw also was great and explained what they were recommending for my puppy (with reasonable prices, example: exam fee was $65, and medications <$20, but this can vary). All of the staff that interacted with my puppy were very nice to him and tried to make him as comfortable as possible. Lastly, the office was very clean and I really liked how you do the check-out process in the exam room (helpful if you have any anxious/reactive animals). I live in Hinesville, but will be driving an hour to this vet going forward because we loved the whole experience. 4/5 starts only because I haven’t had any experience with the boarding area, so I can’t speak to that.

The whole staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond for their Clients, patients, and staff. When it was time for me to say goodbye to my best friend, my baby, they were there for me and I am eternally grateful for them. They truly care for every pet that walks through that door and treat them like their own.

I am sad to be writing a review about a business that has been with us for nearly 4 years since moving to Pooler, but I have to share my experience. My dogs were brought in for their annual physical and to get UTD shots. The whole experience was sub par. For reference, the vet tech was not very friendly and it was extremely transactional. My dogs have also seen 4 different vets in the course of 3 years... which shows just how high the turn over rate at this place. I was comparing our bill from last year to this year for their annual test/shots. To my surprise, nearly the exact same shots/exams were administered only this time we were hit with a bill that was $286.15 more than last year. I get that inflation happens and prices for things go up, but I had to explore more because that is an incredible difference. After looking over the bill, I see we were charged this year with an "Canine Adult plan." This was $260.00 per dog and was not something they were transparent with the price on. Our vet bill for both dogs, medication etc. was almost $1,000! Mine you, I have two healthy dogs, this was a very routine appointment. I truly couldn't believe this! I contemplated calling called, but ended up doing so. On the phone, I spoke to a lady and calmly explained my bill and the confusion over the costs. She simply replied with "Gotcha." That was it, no, compassion or understanding in that tone/one word answer. I thought I was dreaming. The lack of attention and understanding was appalling. Again, we have been using this vet for years and have never paid anything so crazy! We aren't looking for refunds, but explanations as to why there is no transparency in price. I can't help but feel a bit scammed. They hit you with this extra item and hope you don't see the price. This just feels wrong. I expected more from a place that we have been a returning customer too. But here is the best part, at the top of their invoices they write "Our Goal is to Provide the Best Care for Your Pet at an Affordable Price to You!" This vet is lacking in both categories of "best care" and "affordable price." I write this as a save your money and look elsewhere. We certainly will be!

I've been using another vet for years , my dog had a pretty big cut on her belly . I called the other vet and four others to see if they could get her in to be looked at and all of them where busy or had no one on staff if she needed stitches. I called Godley Station and with no questions or anything they said bring her in . They even took all my new patient info over the phone so they could get her in quick . They took care of her and you could tell the ladies and Vet really cared about my pup . Thank you ladies and gentlemen so much for being there when nobody else would see her . It is greatly appreciated and I will use your services from this day forward .

The Best Animal Hospital in the Savannah area!! Dr Howes has been our vet since we moved here in 2006 and has helped us through some difficult pet moments. He’s kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, and professional. His vet techs and front desk staff are always helpful and pleasant. It’s a busy place but they still manage to make time to listen and provide whatever help they can. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
