Made an appointment was told I had to pay 89.00 for the office visit on a card BEFORE the appointment - so I did. An hours before the appointment some hateful lady calls me to say the appointment should have never been made. I had already lost 3 hours of pay from work and was not happy. She told me they had to WRITE ME A CHECK to refund my payment I had to prepay for an appointment that I should have never been given.
Ask me if I’ve gotten my payment reimbursed -you guessed it it’s been near two weeks.
Ready for a fight - I want my money back.
Would NOT recommend this vet and what a shame his business is effected this way.

If I could leave a zero star rating I would.
In my 50 years of receiving veterinary services, I have never seen a more greedy man than Dr Richard Goode working with animals. Dr Richard Goode charged us 200.00 during regular office hours (9:45) on a Friday to "be worked in" and an additional 85.00 for the exam.
The Pueblo Area Emergency Pet Hospital charged us 135.00 to be seen after hours (8pm) on a Friday, which included their exam.

So to walk in the door of the Goode Animal Clinic and have YOUR vet examine your animals during normal office hours; if you need to be "worked in", is 285.00 but you can take your pet to an Emergency clinic for 135.00.
I highly recommend you guys do the math, or bring your first born, if you go to Dr. Richard Goodes clinic.

My dog injested a large amount of rat poison. It was priceless that the vet rushed back from lunch and made full services available to save her life. They prepared a full treatment description for my regular vet and followed up with me, despite the fact I live 2 hours from Pueblo. Very grateful for all the kindness and care!

We were new to Pueblo & needed a local vet to care for our animals. After suffering a great loss of 2 older dogs we adopted new puppies. First problem they required upfront money for office visit. Demanded that we get shots they had already received.
It only got worse after that with constant tactics for extra charges. The worst came when we took the female puppy for a spay. They not only didnot do the surgery but told us the dogs had a genetic disease. After visiting a specialist we were told they were totally fine. The specialist had no idea why the blood tests taken at Dr. Goode show such results. The real issue was we were charged for a spay that never occurred plus specialist fee for inaccurate test results. Steer clear of this place unless you want to be fleeced of your money.

Dr. Goode has always been great and very informative, but the older who answers the phone could serious use some customer service skills. When I called to get information on a possible price, she acted like I was inconveniencing her and she didn't have anytime for me or my dogs illness. Long story short, I went to the small animal clinic instead just because of her. Dr. Goode, please get someone else who is caring and could at least act like my time is just as valuable as theirs to answer your phones.

The staff is kind, and caring. Dr. Goode seems very knowledgeable about animals. I just wish I'd researched more clinics before taking my puppy there for the first year of care. Only because it was SUPER EXPENSIVE!. I have talked with other pet owners who paid less than 1/4 of what I paid for, for the same services. I never feel good walking out of there...just taken advantage of....And that makes me angry. I would recommend this place, only if money is not an issue for you.

My husband and I brought our new puppy, Risky here. They were so kind and loving towards him. They gave him lots of snuggles ? and treats. They also gave us a lot of helpful information and tips on how to train Risky. They listened to all our questions and concerns. We feel that they truly care about our new puppy ? !
