Terrible ER, when I took my 10 month old son in they told me it was just teething and didn’t even address any of the symptoms I brought him in for! The PA told me “ unfortunately it’s my job to tell you what it isn’t not what it is”. If you go to the Er for anything major it’s my opinion you will probably die!

My baby Jaden died of a misdiagnosed "bacterial infection" that turned out to be full blown pneumonia. He was only 13 months old.

DR Anne Lorenson of Rifle Pediatrics gave him 5 vaccine shots against better judgement. As a result, my baby was in and out of the DRs office, the hospital ER, and several ambulances for over a week trying to get him the help he desperately needed. Each time we were overlooked as hysterical first time parents, sent home, and my baby was even handled roughly by incompetent nurses.

Dr Anne Lorenson and Grand River Health did not help, care, or even acknowledge us afterwards. No condolences or accountability for their failures.

The way my family was mistreated has genuinely traumatized us and destroyed our lives. We will never bring another one of our children to this hospital, and will always regret that we trusted these Doctors.

The hospital is a nice facility and the staff is friendly, but that is about where the compassionate care ends. I am not sure if this place only provides affordable care if you are indigent or what. I tried to pay out of pocket for a PT appointment and they wanted 202 dollars, and that was with a "50% discount" for insurance. I suspect that this hospital is likely overbilling insurance providers for care, thus inflating the out of pocket patients whether you are insured or not. This is also known as FRAUD!

I have a high deductible insurance plan which will not cover much of anything, and I hope to never find out if it helps once you exceed your deductible. But even the few things I expect to be covered or when I think I have paid my bill in full after my appointment, I ALWAYS receive some kind of bill. I will never go back to this hospital if I am conscious. I have lost all trust as a patient due to the surprise billing and high cost of care being a consistent occurrence for even preventative care such as vaccines and wellness checks. Literally I am insulted as a patient to be treated like a piggy bank in this way. Never again.

I don’t know where the negative reviews come in to play because that’s absolutely not the experience I have Feeney over the years for for 10 years Dr. Herbener; Dr. Quinn; I have been in the ER so many times I can’t count, but that’s not their fault;
I had And many other capable staff; I also had Dr. Cole;
the only Negative thing I have to say is they have a Doogie Howser in the ER there after a car accident he does send you home with ibuprofen. That’s the only negative thing I’ve had lately. Was not in there for drugs; Prescriptions are fine But For him Doogie doesn’t even know how to check your head out

I also am so so fortunate to be one of Dr. Feeney‘s patients and I saw her in the ER to begin with and I told them “ That is who I want who I want for my Doctor”

Thoughtful Compassionate care is what we received today in the Emergency dept. It’s always stressful traveling then to add an ER trip. The nurse and the doctor were amazing with our 4 yr old granddaughter. If you need emergent care while traveling through this area here is the place to come.

Dr. Cotter was rude to me, because he thought I was asking for meds that I wasn't asking for. I fired him. Never again! I've had a far better experience since.

Walked in during the day, front desk staff was very helpful. There weren’t any appointments they informed us to come back at 5pm. At 5 we went back and there was new staff at the desk, the girl working the front desk was unprofessional. She was on her phone the entire time we checked in FaceTiming with someone else and was completely distracted. After we left our appointment she was still on the phone and acted like it was a burden on her time to help us further. Besides that the care and attention from the medical staff is always wonderful. They should rethink the front desk help.
