We were traveling to Pensacola on vacation with our 11 year old Newfoundland. She was having some issues with her hips from dysplasia and arthritis after arriving. This vet was kind enough to get us in that morning after arriving and treated her and us with compassion and a great friendliness. He helped us all to have a wonderful and enjoying two weeks vacation without her being in pain. If I lived in this area, I would definitely recommend going to see James Ernest D.V.M at Gull point animal Hospital.

I cannot recommend this place enough! There are a lot of veterinary offices in town but this one goes above and beyond. Their staff is awesome and they are very financially transparent which is rare nowadays! Thank you Dr. Wood for all of your help!

We moved to this side of town a few months ago and found Gulf Point, and we're so glad we did our dog. Gracie ? had allergies and a thyroid issue, and the doctor was so helpful, and our grace is doing so much better, very honest, nice, and knowledgeable. So I had my yr old black lab neutered and I was really nervous being a first time pet owner. Thankfully the care of Doctor Woods and Dr. Ernest put me and Goose at ease! He never experienced any sort of pain at all and very blessed for that it's been 5 days since the surgery and everything seems to be back to normal. Thank you Doctors and staff for taking care of my wingman.

This is probably one of the worst vets I have ever ever come into contact with. They have terrible customer service and do not support veterans suffering from PTSD. We have spent thousands of dollars at this place and I regret ever supporting a business like this. I hope everyone reads this review and reconsiders anyone else in the area.

We have a nonprofit that donates puppies to veterans who would benefit from an emotional support dog, and the vet does not want to give out health certificates for dogs that are not local because he won’t make extra money off of the people coming back to his practice. This place is a joke.
