I had high hopes for this place but as it grew it became harder to get an appointment. You would think that they would accommodate their own clients before new ones but that wasn’t the case when I called for an emergency appointment. The staff is nice except for one. She is rude and talks down to you.

Dr. Hutchens is phenomenal. He is very personable and you don’t get the typical doctor/hospital vibe when you go into his clinic. You can clearly tell that his patients are his passion and he loves what he does. The entire staff is caring. Intern Margie is also wonderful and knowledgeable. Don’t hesitate to bring your pet! The prices are incredibly fair for the quality of vet care you will receive.

I'm sorry Tracy was disappointed with her cat claws clipping appraisal. One has to consider if that quote was for one or two cats. Most places also have a office visit charge. Even if you take them to a groomer's there is another fee.
I took my forever friend there for an initial visit and yearly vaccines. Needed an appraisal to have some teeth and a growth removed. She initially was supposed to have several teeth and a growth removed. It turned out to be 14 teeth. While the bill was a little more than the original estimate I couldn't see where they charged me per tooth, or how much longer it took to take that many out. I thought he was more than fair and I left feeling more like a bad pet parent than any ill will about the bill. Our fur babies deserve the best treatment. They don't have a choice. They depend on us to do the right thing.

Can’t really add any additional information to the previous reviews but only to say this business is first class! The first person you will most likely come into contact is Ms. Jess. She is the epitome of what a customer representative for a business should be. And the whole staff is the same. I think I have found my new veterinarian service!! You won’t be disappointed.

Dr. Hutchens is a most uncommon man amongst men. Have known him for years. An incredibly competent veterinary technician, he is a human being of impeccable character. Over the years, he has taken care of our animals in spectacular fashion. When the time comes, he honors our commitments to do what is best for our beloved companions and gives us the most honest, compassionate, and practical answers to the most bitter questions. He helps our friends to the other side and comforts those who suffer such an overwhelming loss.

The staff are all top shelf. Always above and beyond and ready and willing to accomodate. Top shelf people tend to surround themselves with other top shelf people.

Dr. Hutchens is the best vet we've ever had. We like him so much that we followed him from his previous clinic. He genuinely loves what he does and takes excellent care of our 5 Great Danes (and our litter of 13 puppies when we had them). He's extremely caring, gentle, and personable. He makes you feel like you and your pets are his family. Everyone on his Staff is wonderful. I have recommended and will continue to recommend Hands of Hope to every pet owner I know.

This place is phenomenal. No other word will do it justice. Had an emergency animal welfare need and they scheduled us in right away. The owner/head vet is the best you’ll find in town. Not only did he help us in a pinch, but his long term care is unmatched. He focuses on your individual animals care needs and not how much he can get away with charging you. After any visit you leaving knowing he cares.

If you want a family oriented veterinary practice, this is your place. You won’t find anything in 100 miles better than this. Seriously if you aren’t taking your animals here you are missing out.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Hutchens and his staff. We came after having a bad experience at another practice and I could not be more happy with the service. My pup is very nervous and was very scared but Dr Hutchens came in and sat in the floor for 10 minutes with treats before even touching my dog. My dog was not rushed, he was not uncomfortable and he was treated so very well. When they say they are a ‘fear free’ practice they mean it. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone but especially if you have a nervous animal. Thank you so much Hands of Hope , I truly appreciate you !!
