I will give at least two stars because the staff and Dr. were very friendly and did a great job for my first visit! They did a great job with the physical exam and giving my dad’s kitten his shots. I asked them for a price estimate for this visit just to make sure I could afford the visit and pay upfront, and they gave me an accurate price! So I do appreciate that.

I will say that unfortunately when I scheduled the neutering appointment I was given an inaccurate price 3 times verbatim prior to the appointment. It wasn’t until the day before the appointment that I was sent a price breakdown that was not what I was told. It was $250 over my budget. I was shocked because this cat is only 6 months old and has no health issues - all shots were up to date prior to surgery as well!

I do not want to waste any practices time, and I do realize that prices are different for every vet. That’s no problem, but I will gladly find another vet to go to if I find the prices are too high. I would appreciate knowing the correct price before I schedule an appointment and arrange my plans to be at my father’s place to take care/monitor the cat during his recovery.

I really wanted to work with this vet after a great first visit, but due to the high prices I had to cancel my appointment the day before. I ended up playing it safe and booking with a vet I have trusted for nearly 4 years that could fit me in very soon after, but the problem was it is an hour and 30 minutes away from my dad’s place.

It made it stressful for the cat who gets car sick easily, so I really wish things would have worked out differently for his sake!

I have no doubt this place offers great care for it’s animals, but I will say I have received great care elsewhere for a better price and would have appreciated knowing the correct price before following through with making a neutering appointment.

UPDATE: Dr Hopkins has moved to South Athens Animal Hospital to be much closer to his home. We moved our dog’s files to there to stay with him. He’s that good.
So I’ve heard ppl say that didn’t love the vet they had here, but I have Dr Hopkins and he’s really good. He cares for one thing. He’s reasonable about your pets care also. My dog is almost 14 and no one can believe it. I do recommend Dr Hopkins.

We were in GA for a family reunion when our chihuahua who has an existing heart condition became sick. We didn't know where to take her. I called Harmony and Taylor told me to come right in. We saw Dr. Richter and he was wonderful. His treatment was excellent and we feel he saved our dog. We are so grateful to him and the staff and the wonderful care and treatment they gave us!

Dr. Scott was amazing! Super informative, thorough and friendly. We have 3 rescues who are our babies and took one to see him for a belly ache. Great experience and fairly priced. I would highly recommend!

As soon as you walk in the door you know you are in good hands. Everyone is so friendly and helpful! I can tell my dogs feel safe as they don't try to run out the door as they have at past vet offices. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great family ran animal hospital.
