The good: This clinic is great! I never have any complaints about staff, and when we had an aggressive dog, they worked with us in making her comfortable. They have treated our pets for a few years, and always ease our concerns and give what I feel is excellent care.

The bad: My only complaint, they rarely answer the phone. There have been multiple times (non-urgent)I've called multiple times a day for a week/weeks with no answer.
There have also been multiple times I've called for more urgent matters, and have had to physically go in the office to make an appointment because the phones aren't being answered.
I don't know if it's just a high call volume, or if the staff is too busy. I've only had the busy tone twice during all of my attempted calls.

The only reason for the 4-star rating is the difficulty with contacting someone during business hours. If it wasn't for that, I would easily give them 5 stars!

Completely impossible to get a hold of. The doctors are amazing with our dogs and we love the care they provide, but having great doctors means absolutely nothing if it’s impossible to make an appointment because the rest of the staff doesn’t care. Called literally 54 TIMES and go no answer or call back. Ridiculous.

We were from out of town. Our dog was in need of emergency care late on a weekend. The doctor on call came in and treated him promptly. I am so grateful. They had him fixed in 30 minutes with immediate relief from his distress. Thanks you so much for your professional and courteous care

My little dog had a broken leg that wasn't healing properly, so she had to have it amputated. 😟
The first place I took her to wanted over $2000!
I called around and found this place. Thw cost was significantly less! They were able to get her in within a few days.
The staff was very kind.and friendly. The tech whontook care of her was incredible.
It's been 10 days and she's doing great!
I'm not taking my animals anywhere else!

I have called them over 10 times today to check on my dog who was supposed to be having surgery, they haven't answered a single time. Thats super annoying because I want to make sure she is okay.

My daughter was visiting from out of town with her two dogs. One dog, Penny, had split the nail on one dew claw down to the quick. It was very tender and bothering her.
The clinic fit us in the next morning for a nail trim hoping that would help since their vet was booked solid. The vet tech saw that the issue would need more than a nail trim and the surgeon was able to evaluate and treat Penny.
Everyone at the clinic was so nice, helpful and pleasant. We can't thank you enough for squeezing Penny in and making her more comfortable during her visit to southern Illinois.

They only want to treat symptoms and not the actual problem went over 3 times in 3 weeks and it was something different each time went to a different vet and they found out the problem the first appointment unfortunately it was to late and my dog passed away that night do yourself a favor if you love your pet don’t come here go to some place else, I will never forgive York for how he neglected my dog

Dr. Harbison is always so friendly. He makes sure all questions are covered if you have any. The cost for services is amazing also. I drive an hour to go here.
