An absolutely amazing shelter. We have adopted a dog and two cats so far and couldn't be happier. The shelter is well managed, clean, organized, and staffed with an amazing, caring people. All of the animals are well taken care of. This is what every animal shelter should be like.

It's been our 2nd Christmas with mimi now. We adopted her last year before Christmas when she went under the name snowball. She is loves humans and hates cats lol 😆 she is absolutely wonderful and we love her very much!!! She chose us by reaching her paw out of her cage and grabbing onto my shoulder by essentially saying 'you're mine'. She has been ever since 😍

I love HCAC!!! They care so deeply about their animals and truly go above and beyond their means for the size of the team that they have. We adopted two kittens from HCAC and they came with a goodie bag (food, etc), spay/neuter, microchip, and vaccines included in the $70 adoption fee (per cat). They spend time with their animals and really get to know them.

I followed this shelter’s page because it was my hometown although I have moved 30 minutes away since then. I haven’t gotten around to following the new pages in my area, so I would see animals from here a lot instead. When I saw our cat on their page for adoption, she pulled at my heartstrings and I could not let her pass me by. I went and visited her the same day, and everyone there was extremely pleasant with us during the entire visit. Everything we needed for her was already done, shots, spay, microchipping, all things that are so expensive if you decide to just shop for a pet. I’ve had her for a few weeks now, and on the first night she was already a lap cat and continues to be. She is sweet, clean, loves laying in bed and under the blanket, loves her toys/playing and was the best decision we’ve made for our family in a long time. Thank you HCAC ❤️

We had to put our dog boober who was 12 years old. She had tumors. And also had been attacked by another dog. They were so kind. They made the hard decision we had to make feel right. They treated her so gently and sweet. Thank you for being there when we needed you.
